I am not selective on what I buy. In the last month or two I have bought the following:
PS4 BO3 bundle, X1 Halo 5 bundle, Battlefront, Until Dawn, Rainbow Six Siege and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Not to mention squeezing in Destiny for both systems.

OK. I have been vaporizing zombies since the days of World at War. I own all Zombie DLC's ever since.....that would include the AW zombies. I have played the new BO3 zombies several times and it seems to me like the developers made this one much harder than previous ones. It also IMO feels different form others.......seems not to be as fun as others have been. The devs seem to want to trip you up at every corner......IDK. Maybe its just me.....BUT I prefer AW zombies! Well that is my opinion on the matter. What do yall think about the new zombies?
There were a lot of great games I played this year so far. BUT If I had to choose only ONE that grabbed a hold of me and would not let go........ready for it........ready for it......wait for it.......
But, aside from graphical effects, did Halo 4 push the series into a new direction or add anything highly original to it?
No. But for myself......i don't always put all my emphasis on a story line....dont get me wrong......a story line is very important to a game. BUT the gaming part of Halo 4 was enough for me. IMO!! LOL.
The storyline is only one facet of it. The gameplay itself is mostly the same. It's just about shooting enemies, walking to point A, using an elevator, shooting enemies and walking to point B.
If you stop and smell the roses (shooting games in general) they are all the same as you just explained. Think about it......all games have some sort of a lame story line and shooters are all about running around shooting enemies.....PERIOD. Destiny, Halo, GOW, COD, MW to name a few ALL have their own story......run and gun games.....all of them. But once again....I myself like to run and gun....that is what a first person shooter is all about!!! I will not lose any sleep over a lame story line. Carry On!!

Just bought me the Halo 5 bundle and Until Dawn. I already payed off my Black Ops 3 PS4 bundle. Bam!!!!! So for the next few months that is what I will be gaming!!
