Well the problem is, no one sonic game can be defined as the best and such as it always comes down to an opinion, because for me sonic 3 is the best sonic game, and was the one i enjoyed most.

Much like i feel heroes was boring you enjoy it, just like i think sonic adventure 1 was the best of the 3D series, i don't think secret rings was better either.

'92 (I beleive) was Sonic's best year. The realease of Sonic 3, Sonic & Knux, the lock-on thing, and (if I remember right) Sonic CD.

They were both released in 1994. I donno how you got that date since the first sonic game released was in 91, and releasing 3 more games in 1992 would be a major rush.

Much like Mario games, the story is pathetic, but the gameplay is awesome for me in Sonic Heroes. The bosses weren't a big deal, but weren't too impressive for the most part. Still, they weren't terrible, I'd say. And no, the story isn't really much of one.DoctorEggman
