Ok well on the DVD player, it just says Optical, and its next to a coaxial audio as well.

No mention of ins or outs.

and the Sub doesnt have anything other than the speakers into it and speakers out.

Ok so I want my ps3 to use surround sound.

The system thatI have is oldschool it doesnt have HDMI inputs or anything. Basically the surround sound speakers connect individually to the sub and then from the sub you run the individual cables for each speaker to the DVD player. Now on the DVD player there is an optical port. I was wondering can I run an optical cable from my PS3 to the optical port on the back of my DVD player for it to use surround sound?

(The Video for the PS3 is connected directly to my Plasma via HDMI)

I just have a few questions about PlayTV if anyone can help:
(I live in Australia)

• I know I can transfer the files to a Portable Hard Drive, but can I record the shows directly to a Portable Hard Drvie?
• Are the files recorded able to be burnt onto DVD discs once I transfer them to my PC?
• Does the PS3 have to be turned on for the set recording to work?
• Has anyone found any flaw or problems with the PlayTV system?

I actually won a PSPGo in a competition and it turned up today. What I want to know is, do us Australian owners get a free game like the people in Europe did?

I have never owned a PSP so its all new to me. :)

I'm in Australia and have a Japan system and on the PS Store there isn't one demo for the game not even the Clank one.

Just wondering if you can play multiplayer split screen in terrorist hunt mode, with splitm screens? The way I can onyl see that it can be played is once you die your dead for the rest of the game.
