I have a 40GB PS3.

I have 4 games and it says I ahve 29GB free. Now by adding up the games storage data and stuff it doesnt equal up to over 10GB.

Is the reason I have 29GB because of the PS3 system updates? If so I would like to know what I am going to do if it continues to eat up my space.

I turn it off at the front and then turn it off at the back simply because I have an overseas console and I have it plugged into a power socket adapter and I don't want to risk leaving it on overnight just in case something happens at that converter.

Yeah thats all great and stuff to go buy it. But at this stage I wont be buying a HD TV for quite a while.... So yeah thats sorta out of the question.

But yeah I'll see if I cna buy these component cables tomorrow and I will let you all know how I go.

See I just tried it on the lounge Teac 69cm tube tv and it isnt as bad as the one in my bedroom. There is nothing wrongwith my bedroom tv when im watching normal tv on my digital box. (SD)

So its very odd. Also I dont think my parents would be letting me save up for a hd tv for my bedroom maybe if it was the lounge, but not the bedroom.

So it just looks like ill buy the component cables. *fingers crossed that they will work*

Yeah there is no option for the automatic display setup...

So the YUV cables will improve the picture on my tv and stop the outining and flashing pixels of orange colours etc?

Also when you mention the settings what ones do your reccomend?
