Yes. Personally, no, but from an objective standpoint, yes. 1 Super Bowl win is better than 7 playoff appearances.

I can come up with irrelevant football analogies too. 7 field goals are better than 1 touchdown.

And in your case, which scenario provides a team's fans with more excitement over 7 years? 1 Super Bowl win and no other playoff appearances, or 7 playoff appearances with no Super Bowl wins? I'd argue the latter.
