Before I go ahead and break down, and preorder from ebgames/gamestop, I have a few questions about the game. Now I know that it hasn't been released yet, but I've been reading different messege boards, watching videos, and so forth and still am on the fence on this one. Does far cry 2 compare in any way to MGS4? Because I enjoyed that title a lot, I liked the adventure/shooter aspect. I want a fairly long game, will far cry 2 fit that criteria? Also, I enjoyed free-roaming games like oblivion, so far cry 2's should appeal to me also, right? I don't know what to do. The last game i preordered was nhl 09, and that doesn't really count; sports games are usually "safe bets" from year to year.

I will answer your questions and go into details turn by turn :

1)Yes it will be fun like MGS4.Although they both are somewhat different from each other.But still it wont be any worse than MGS4.There are MANY ways to play it,which include stleath(mgs4),rambo style,tactics or strategy.Because you can approach your enemy from ANYWHERE.Example you have a checkpost with three men sitting,now if you ambush them through any vantage point they will take cover hide n fight back.But you can just go from the back and kill them silently.ITS ALL UPTO YOU !

2)I have preordered it already !

3)It will be VERY long.Your main mission is very small to hunt down the Jackle.But the way you reach him is Very long.You make your own story.There are alot of captains,warlords,drug dealers and buddies you have to deal with.There are two parties you have to destroy before reaching the jackle ! I mean it plays somewhat like oblivion.Like you have a huge fully accesible 50 square kms map and its COMPLETELY upto you what you do first and how you make your way to the Jackle ! Its completely upto you that in which jungle of that map you go first and which captain you meet first.The characters are ALL FULL real-time AI dynamic.That means they wont appear in any specific chapter or at any specific time.They just play like any other normal guy in the game.You can kill them and still go on...etc..etc..

4)Yes alot of replay value i mean you can play the story again and again,use different tactics each time and it still wont grow old on you.Apart from that it has the BEST map builder on consoles which you can share online ! So it has that value.

To be honest after spending four years as a member and 6 years as a non member on gamespot.I personally think that gamespot is bias towards the PS3.I mean check out the top ten charts there will always be more 360 titles.Check out everything else and you will know it for yourself.

I hate it when GS officials bring oppinions in their work ! I seriously hate it....

Anyway though i have learned since a long time to ignore this Bull crap once and for all.What i own and what i like i know about that ! I dont have to listen to anyone.I did my research before chosing between Xbox 360 and PS3.And i have had my experience with the 360 aswell.Both are great consoles if you ask me.Both have their advantages and disadvantages.But i have always prefered sony more and they have always delivered me a great experience :) so i am happy with the PS3.

And about the fanboyism crap.Just talk a little walk to system war forum some day,you`ill be suprised to noe that how stupid people really are ! I enjoy teasing fanboys over there :D .One word against any hermit,cow or lemming and that turns into a war.All you have to do is to sit back enjoy eating the pop corns :D !

Resistance 2 and Farcry 2 both look like amazing games. Its just that, I CANT get both of them. First of all, my budget is pretty limited, secondly, I have college and dont want to waste too much of my time on games. So which game do you think would be the better purchase?

Resistance 2 looks great with its 60 player online MP, great graphics and 2 campaigns, and it looks really fun. I also happen to enjoy killing oversized evil humanoid monsters.

Far cry 2 looks unique with its 50km squared world, amazing graphics, total free roam and map editor (I am really hyped about the map editor).

I will probably get both EVENTUALLY, but for the following months. Which game do you think I should go for?

Gears of War 2 is not bad,infact its a very good game and the graphics are awesome.But its certainly not the graphics king ! When it comes to best Graphics,there are games like Crysis and Far Cry 2 which are better than Gears.

Wii has had news and weather channel from launch, it is nothing amazing or new.Nintendo_Man

HELP NEEDED : First i finsihed downloading the 126mb file normally like everyone else.Then when it got replaced by the folding at home i launched it.Ther was this globe sort of thing with music.And when i tried going into ANY country they said that "Connection to the server could not have been established".

Anyone can help me out over here ?
