Just because the games are made to attract a younger audience doesnt mean they're childish. Lots of the games on the DS that are seen as childish are actually very fun and enjoyable. Id give them a chance. Otherwise, look to GTA China Town Wars.
I like it because I grew up on it. Ive always liked Pokemon but only recently started playing the games seeing as Ive never been a Nintendo user.
