@mdinger: Not every console gamer likes gaming on PC and vice versa, so those who are console only gamers would move to Playstation, Nintendo or whoever replaces Xbox, if Xbox 1 was the last Console. PS4 is dominating this gens console market so far and it makes sense for Microsoft to have a footing in PC market aswel to maximise Xbox games sales.

@Spartan_418: If a game runs at 900p most of the times and once in awhile it changes to 1080p, that tells me that it's really a 900p game and devs should have just stuck to 900p and make sure the fps is solid or higher, improved graphics, textures etc. Dynamic res is good for marketing also as they can advertise a game as 1080p.

Almost in year 3 of this gen and some people are still suprised of articles like these. Majority of AAA games run at 900p on the X1, clearly this game with the special effects, particles etc is pushing the hardware (specs don't lie), 1080p is ideal but 720p is not a deal breaker if the gameplay is solid. I've already accepted the facts about the PS4 and X1 (PS4 runs majority of its games at 1080p and X1 900p, dynamic res I don't count that's just a smoke screen), so this news doesn't affect me as I was going to buy the game regardless. Xbox just need to concentrate on full Xbox exclusives which do not end up on the PC because those are potential X1 consumers and eventually X1 consoles will start to pick up sales and close the gap on the PS4 runaway train but at this point I think Microsoft have given up on trying to push X1 sales.

It might seem easy to just Google a product and do some research on it before making a purchase but by looking back at the amount of misinformation some people post in their comments, I guess it's protection for the dummies, no offence! ;D
