I've been playing ME2 and I think I might know what TIM's game is!

I don't think he believes that anyone has a chance against the Reapers and he is going to ensure Humanities suvival by making the human race become the next collectors! Think about it, the man uses Shep to get rid of the collectors and asks him to keep the base. I never did buy that whole "i just thought of it" thing.

I don't know if he has a plan to enslave the Reapers and become some sort of Galactic Emperor, or he just wants to ensure human survival, but I am sure that one of Mass Effects Evil (rogue) endings will be joining him, or becoming him.

Ohhhh, sinister! I like the idea but I'm not sure if I agree with it though. The Illusive Man has never been one to subscribe to the adage "if you can't beat them, join them". He has been more likely to advocate 'if you can't beat them, burn everything down so they can't use it either".

I'm still not sure why Cerberus is fighting Shepard, the anti-Reaper coalition and basically helping the enemy by weakening the allies. I think he got too aggressive/greedy with his Reaper research and became indoctrinated. But you're right Falcon, he may be having a delusional episode similar to what Saren experienced when the SPECTRE said that because there was no beating the Reapers, the best way to ensure survival of any kind was to work with them and prove a worthiness that might inspire the Reapers to keep you around.

By the way, you're post was the 1000th post in this thread. That's the most of any thread in the MEU! There ought to be a prize.
