Seeing comments like "Microsoft's used game policy is at least better than having none" and basically accepting the fact that things aren't gonna be ideal next generation is a HORRIBLE mindset. If you have a "could be worse" mindset your whole life people (or companies) are gonna have no problem screwing you over; that is the exact mindset they want people to have. If you don't stand up against this nonsense, there will be no justice.

How are you two fanboys enjoying giving each other reach arounds?

MarcRecon

LOL.

:P...I know man...even though I'm not sure what reach arounds are...I do however got a picture in my mind.

I had a feeling this might happen (though perhaps it's my own fault for the way I presented this thing). First off, I had no intention of this being a fanboy thread where everyone gets to feel all high and mighty about owning a certain console; I just wanted to see owners' favorite PS3 exclusives and figured this was the appropriate place to find out. I'd be just as interested in seeing a similar type of thread in an Xbox or Nintendo forum. Secondly, being proud of your console doesn't necesserily make you a hating fanboy; similarly, being proud of your nationality or background doesn't necesserily make you a racist hater of other cultures.

Hey fellow PS3 owners. I am quite confident that this type of thread has been done multiple times before but I've never seen one and I'm interested. What are your favorite PS3 exclusives? What games/series keep you to stick with this console brand? Many of the best games are multiplatform nowadays (many previous exclusives have turned so, which is fine) but there's gotta be some exclusive you are thankful to have been able to play.

Personally, I'm a huge Yakuza fan (waiting desperately for 5 to receive a Western release announcement). I also deeply enjoyed the two InFamous games and, of course, Uncharted series has been the source of so much fun this gen.

My reasons for not really caring about GoW:A: I was told this series was over and I was totally cool with that and I thought it ended on a good note. Now it seems to be getting milked which I don't find very appealing (how many Kratos stories can you tell?). And perhaps the more important reason being, as cool as the gameplay is, it has hardly evolved over the course of the franchise and quite frankly I've grown tired of it.

I noticed how when people say religion on OT, it usually just has to do with Christianity and MAYBE some other major religion gets briefly discussed. By the way, by making this thread (as many gamespot atheists do) you are excluding religious people and thus creating social barriers. The very same social barriers that eventually pave way for wars and killing based on the idea that "what I believe in is right." Yes, the social barriers terrible, awful, religion can create. Just thought I'd let you, and every other high and mighty atheist know (not saying all atheists are, just like not all religious people feel the need to do terrible things). So atheists, please stahp overcrowding OT with these topics. Thanks. :)

I've said it to countless ignorant people and I'll probably be saying it my whole life. Religion doesn't kill, people do. If people take non-violent principles, for example the new testament, and somehow turn it into hate, well that just says alot about a certain person, not a religion. Please don't generalize and become more open minded. There are plenty of amazing things that have happened in this world that wouldn't have if not for religion.

I've been wanting to get a new nba game (NBA 2K12) and realizing a new game comes out yearly should I buy it or wait for 2K13? That brings me to another point being is it really worth it to update your sports games yearly by purchasing the new one? Thanks for any inputs.

Asian, mainly japanese. Sometimes I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I grew up obsessively playing JRPG's...

MTV is pathetic now, at least in the 90's it helped bands get noticed but now it just plays irrelevant shows like Jersey Shore and reduces intellect like modern pop music. :P

Most people are pretty stressed their entire lives... life sucks, it's impossible to work out perfectly for you so all you do is try to make it better your whole life and whether it works out or doesn't you just die in the end. The most "fair" the world could be is communism but some (mainly rich people) would argue that it's a form of slavery so what can you do right? :(
