100% agree. I will not buy a game at 50-60$ unless it is a high profile game (BF3, Skyrim, 100+$ on 2 games in a short ammount of time did put a dint in my wallet). Even worse I was still playing TF2, Quake Live and EYE: DC at the time lol.I disagree because take for instance myself, I cant always afford to buy all the games that I want at launch or at full price, so if I cant afford it I wont buy it, if it happens that a steam sale comes along and its in the pricerange that at the current moment I can get it for then I buy it. I carefully pick my games the ones that I buy at full price, these games usually are in the BF3, D3, SC2 category games. I would buy all the games at full price if I could afford them but I cant. Not everyone can throw 60$ at a game every month. But also they need to consider the games that arent actually worth those prices. But sometimes I buy discounted games even though I may not like them just because it costs 5$, well why not.

Looks great to me. I should have my PC back up by the time this comes out and this will be nice to return to.
Oooo weird the same situation happened to me after a move...eerieeeeeeee. Anyway, I tried a different monitor, cable, and finally video card. Turned out to be the vid card. GL! :)ydnarrewopWow odd lol. I was thinking about upgrading my psu (700 watt) and gpu (6770) before the move. How ever I think I screwed up some of the pins on the cpu :/. That would be about half the cost as the laptop so maybe I'll start there some time next week. Thanks, man!
So I had to move out of my apart and finished packing but as soon as I went to set up my PC again it read on screen "no vga signal". I've checked the cards, triedit with two separate monitors but no luck.
Some thing's I've tried was resetting the ram, cleaning the dust from tr he gpu and cpu cooler, pretty much took the whole damn thing apart (which was fun as I am now confident I can build my own if need be.)
I've also read it could be the psu, gpu or mobo that could be malfunctioning.
My PC is currentley in storage and I don't have the time or money atm to continue to figure this one out. Any advice would be helpful.
When i get settled again I was thinking about grabbing an Acer Aspire laptop-17.3 inch monitor, 4gb of ram gddr3AMD 7670M gpu, i5 @2.5GHz for around 550$ and connect that to my ASUS 1920x1080 monitor. But would that be worth replacing the gpu, psu and the mobo if needed?
Thanks again for any advice.
To broaden this I will say a few games that evokd feelings in general.
Max Payne series
Bioshock
Mass Effect
MGS Snake Eater
Condemned series
Dead Space series
The Suffering
PoP series
And a bunch more. When a game can reach that level of detail I consider them forms of art. I read a lot too, but my some of my friends (women) still insist they are not art lol and can't compare to a book...It's the same with me and graffiti. Some of it's art and the rest of it's just crap. But I guess this is subjective :P

This is a public service announcement: BUY THE DARKNESS 2
As for Amazon, I'm still trying to figure out why it recommends me crotchless thongs and panties and fishnet stockings and why the T-Shirt I ordered last month isn't here yet. Other than that it's great.

This^. I love AMAZON!Glad to her your enjoying it! I'm also getting it free with the WoW annual pass and can't wait to play as a Witch Doc. :D
This^. This idea is the whole reason I fell in love with ME when I first heard about it. It wasn't as deep as Morrowind but I still love ME for what it did accomplish.Elder Scrolls style game but Star Wars or Mass Effect......I'd never leave the house
