While his rant is obviusly not written in the clearest state of mind, i have to agree with a solid portion of it. The 360 has a solid unified xbox live experience with constant updates and integrated private chat across all games and movies ( to private chat on the 3 both people need to be on the dash). Furthermore it is one reason why people put up with the RROD, many people i know swear off mgo because it doesnt support matchmaking friends lists, and you have to spend hours searching for a room only to be kicked because its knives "only" and you cant leave your box. This isnt sonys fault directly but tehir refural to enforce a universal online experience ala live makes room for us searching rooms for ten mins ( what is this 1999?). So yeah i love lbp but the servers are having trouble and unlike others on here i also experience lag on cod on my 3 and dont on my box. My bro owns the xbox version*.

You know what, this isnt a topic for system wars...we own a system with LITERALLY one exclusive, mgs. MS just took teh next big game on teh horizon while having snatched up previous exclusive IP's liek GTA and RE5. Im pissed i bought this 600 dollar box and have to play folklore instead of fable...resistance instead of halo and bioshock......and not to mention never being able to play mass effect or lost oddysey. what is sony doing. Completely agree with the original post dim, cold, and grim indeed.

[QUOTE="link3117"] Why do people think you have to pay LIVE to get to download demos, extra content, themes, gamer pics, and expansions? All that is free including private chat across games a private room and movies. Sometime sI wonder if teh people on tehse boards even play games. They sound like the dumb parents you hera wandering around game stores asking ridiculous questions thta make no sense.emitsu97

You're right. You do however have to pay in order to play online.

Tou do have to pay, but isnt it worth it to have frien invites, private chat IN games and a gamertag tht u can bring with you to ANY game?

So paying a couple bucks a month is an unacceptable proposition, but downloading and maintaining a EURO US and JAPAN account at all times hoping to get something worthwhile isnt? I think too many ps3 users settle for mediocrity in order to justify their purchase to themselves. I won both guys its ok to complain and critique something you own. Rabid fanboydom allows the game companies to become even more fat content and bloate dthan they alreday are.

e sthe catch....xbox live is actually better...universal gamertag, private chat through games and movies...invites from any game (play MGO if u dont believe me)...achievements...and the ability to receive a message without leaving a game! Dont comment on it not being better if you havent played on it.

I think the PSn store isnt all too great, but then again it is free. My problem is that i would rather pay approximately 3.75 a month to have a universal gamertag like live, as MGO forces you to make a new id and go through konami. I understand this isnt sony's fault but if they implemented and stood by tehir universal tag system like live enfores konami couldnt do that. I would also like to be able to have aprivate chat with a friend something MGO doesnt support. And its pretty sad that i have a 500 dollar console and cant even send afriend an invite he has to join me and hope teh server then teh room isnt full. IMHO MGO would be a much more enjoyable experience on live.

Im not going to comment on the lighthearted take on PMC's the game chooses or whether or not the story was deserving of a topic that will dominate future history texts, but i will say this, the original poster was right about the review's quality and insight into the game. If these three and a half paragraphs that are alreadyy a week is the best the site can muster Id be a little worried about the quality of the reviews we will be reading in the future. I for one wont be coming on this site for anything more than the "hands on" features they seem to be focusing so heavily on lately.

Yeah i agree with ya, no conflict denied ops review or turning point i don't believe a frontlines and definitely not an army of two one up yet. But they seem to have alot of time and manpower to write "hands on" previews no one really cares about.
