Great game, and not too long, but you hardly notice,as others have said it sucks you right in.mattykovaxSpot on. I agree it's a great game that's not tooo long, but like you said it sucks you in and when you complete it you feel like you've been through hell, quite a lengthy hell at that.

For the kids, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. The GameSpot review says it's no different from previous Crash Bandicoot games (which is a good thing from my experience playing the old Crash Bandicoot PS1 games as a kid). I have not played Wrath of Cortex so I don't know how good the quality of this game actually is though.
I can't think of anything for you and your wife right now, sorry.

[QUOTE="KingofScots7"]Yes UAC is evil, never use! It's annoying at first but I got used to it and now I just leave it on.Never mind. Had to just disable UAC. Just got Vista so didn't disable it until now. Works fine now.

Savage: The Battle for Newerth is a full free retail FPS/3RD-person/strategy game, available from www.s2games.com. The sequel is free too, but some say the first game (The Battle for Newerth) is better. It's an online game.
What's a cd-i game? No I haven't tried to play a game for one system in another, but I have put some PS1 games like Tomb Raider in a cd player and you can hear the games soundtrack and some cutscene voices that way.
Here are all the patches GameSpot has http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/battlefieldvietnam/downloads.html?mode=patches&tag=tabs;downloads Download the v1.2 full patch and install it, then download and install the v1.21 patch (not the server one, I think that's for server admins). From the looks of things once you have installed these patches then you are all up-to-date. I didn't know you needed a patch to play it online, but like I said from the looks of things once you have installed these then you should be good to go online.
I like mint choc chip (it's green with choc chips) and the cookies and cream one, but I tried cookie dough and didn't like the dough chunks. It was a bit sickly for my liking.
Last night I dreamt I was in a person's house and for some reason I opened a drawer and it was filled with SNES games, I opened another one and it was packed with NES games, while a third one had two Atari Jaguars in it (lol). Then the owner came in and told me: "Oh, all that old stuff is just there collecting dust. You can have it if you like". That was just awesome.
Man, who needs Jessica Alba, gimme a dream like that every night! :D
Anyone care to share any similar experience?

Then the owner says oh wait I made a mistake, it was this game that's collecting dust and my brother says it's a cracker "hands you Fade to Black for the PS1" enjoy :)
[QUOTE="liquidzero123"]Arguably, the same can be said for any console... The thing is though, I have a 130 games that cost as much as 15 new names at current prices. If you know you'll be able to get more Xbox games way into the future, then don't buy anymore games, you have enough. If you start buying more and more games then that's more money you've spent on them and if you decide to sell your Xbox in the future, you'll wish you didn't spend so much money on games you didn't really need (I know they are cheap, but it all adds up!)

Absolutely. The same applies if you go out tomorrow and buy an Xbox 360 or a PS3. If the console comes with bundled games that you want to play, then enjoy them and get the most out of them. Buying only a few games encourages you to get your money's worth out of those games rather than completing it and moving on because you have loads of other games, when there's still alot of good play to be had in that game you completed (depends on the game).
And what you said about your 130 cheap games costing the equivalent to 15 new games today is exactly my point when I said that it all adds up. Before you know it you've spent hundreds of dollars on cheap games.
This is just experienced advice and people can take it or leave it.
