I do not own a 360, but my pc is quite strong.

I am exited for crysis, not so much halo.

The rumour of a new 40GB PS3 model are back in the news thanks to Michael Pachter speculating that in response to Halo 3, Sony could release a 40GB $399 PS3 before the year's end.

Is he right SW? Will Sony announce a $399 PS3 at TGS?

Kaz Hirai is the keynote speaker at TGS and most attention from media outlets will be on Sony for the event. If they were to announce a 40GB $399 PS3, TGS 2007 would be the perfect event to do so.

Will there be a price drop internationly?

Well definetely, it's a great console I can tell you that. Since you have a powerful computer, you'll get to play most of the 360's best titles anyway as most of 360's best titles seem to end up on the pc anyway. With that in consideration, your options are the ps3 and the wii. If you want a powerful console with a lot of features and great graphics, then yeah the ps3 is the better option. It has a lot of great games and franchsies for it, and particularly if you liked the games on the ps2 then yeah its a good choice. Shaqneel

NO, with so many rumors going around that the price is going to drop, and the lack of current games it would be pretty foolish to buy a ps3 now unless you NEED blu-ray movies or are a huge fan of the game on it right now. Wait and see what games actually come out in 08, and see where the price settles in at then ask again.
