New Vegas is an awesome game and i love it and especially the ending when it tells you the effect of every single thing you did in the Mojave Wasteland

I am level 25 character at the part where you have to fight Legate Lanius (I don't have enough speech or Barter to tell him to retreat) I have Boone and ED-E as companions and using NCR face wrap armor for myself I have no idea how am going to beat him because he has way too much legionaries helping him. I have several drugs to boost my health and damage resistance and stuff like that but the problem is i only have like 4 stimpaks and 10 super stimpaks (i am playing on normal if that makes any difference) Weapons i have (that i remember) Mercy (special grenade machine gun but at pretty bad condition) ,Riot shotgun ,Anti Materiel Rifle with like only 12 AP rounds left ,Sniper Rifle , Annabelle (Special Rocket launcher) , Dinner Bell (special hunting shotgun) , C4 Plastic Explosive ( which barely removed any health from him when i used them) (these are the only weapons i remember i have on me right now fo sure that are the only real ones which have some chance to do some damage the other ones are not powerful or fast enough to take care of them all) My problem is that:

1)Boone and ED-E get their asses kicked like almost immeadiately

2)There are waaayyy to many Legionaries with Legate so i cannot focus on him (or anyone really i just shot randomly trying to hit anyone i see)

3)I have absolutely NO IDEA what strategy i am going to use because even a sneak attack critical with Anti Materiel Rifle on Legate doesn't do any damage at all

4)The Legionaries he has with him always outrun me and beat the crap outta me with Super Sledges ,Power Fists ,Ballistic Fists and there are also several guys on the ledges above me shooting me and there are just way too many people to try and kill)

btw can you actually clear all the legionaies with Legate or do they just keep respawning until you kill Legate???

Any help and strategies to use on how to beat him would be GREATLY HIGHLY APPRECIATED because this guy just kicks my ass everytime i reload the game and if you think i am in a position where i have no chance of beating him at all pls tell me because i saved before the battle so i can restart the battle and come a bit better equipped

my first question is in the title and my other question is which quest causes you to have to go against the NCR because at first i went with yes man plan but as soon as i was done it told me that the NCR doesn't want anything to do with me anymore so i reloaded and went with Mr.House but he apperently wants me to go against NCR but i want to be with the NCR (btw the quest i am at is called "The House Always Wins IV") so he confused the crap out of me because if i went with Yes Man the NCR hates me but if i go with Mr.House they don't hate me but Mr.House wants me to go against them (might have understood him wrong if so pls tell me) if you can try not to spoil anything for me unless you HAVE to spoil something for me to explain but try not to make it such a big spoiler

nope you are not the only one because even I find the game boring and repetitive because I just felt like the fights are boring because you mostly have firefights and battles with the same 5 types of enemies you see in the entire game and its always just go to cover, aim shoot , take cover, aim shoot , take cover etc. etc. it is just really boring and by the end of the game i was so sick of it.. andthere are only like what 4 (five if you count the final boss but he was just annoying) bosses in the entire game and three of them were that beserker and the other one was the corpser and it wasn't even that hard once i actually figured out where to shoot it

I mean the game has a cool storyline and all i thought it was really cool but the gameplay and controls have too many flaws in my opinion to truly enjoy the game because half the time i died because the controls were crap and my character just wouldn't go to cover not because i was actually playing bad

I have infinite ammo for all my weaponsbut i want to activate infinite ammo just for my handgun not for all my weapons at once

Is there any way to do this?

what did you think of the hunters?

i was abit disappointed i think they could have made them alot harder

in the original if they wanted to cut your head off they immediatley do it in the remake they roar at first which gives you enough time (if you are close enough) to run by them and get out of there

they have lower health i think

the better shotgun you get from richard makes it abit easier to kill them and knock them down and in the remake they take longer to get up than the original but they do look alot cooler though

really, huh to tell you the truth i find the original abit harder than the remake, well i mean it was petty hard at first but once i got used to it i can plan my actions and the things i want to do first and last alot easier in the remake and in the original i still die once or twice every now and then and i have this playthough going right now in the remake as jill and i have like 6 green herbs, 3 green and reds mixed and 6 f-aid sprays and in the original i only have like 3 greens, one mixed and maybe sometimes one f-aid spray

so i have to say i feel the remake is alot easier especially the hunters they are alot tougher in the original (do you think the hunters are easier in the remake or harder?? )
