fable 2 + gears+L4D+ banjo are going to crush LBP+R2+motorstorm 2 + socom u mean which they are in every single catagory

Sales- I can easily say Gears+any of the above will outsell those 4 combined

Scores- LBP- 9, R2- id say 8.5, Motorstorm id say 8, socom- id say 7.5

If anyone looks at Xbox 360 without any bias, there is no denying that 2008 has been disappointing for Xbox 360 and Microsoft.

So far in 2008

1) Microsft lost the format war. With HD-DVD dead, there is no way whatsoever for Xbox 360 owners to watch disk-based HD movies. On the other hand, with Blu-ray, the PS3 is the only console capable of playing the best versions of HD movies on the market.

2) Xbox 360 lacks AAAA/AAA exclusives. (Small downloadable games with PS2 graphics don't count). On the other hand, the PS3 has Metal Gear Solid 4 and Little Big Planet.

3) Xbox 360 no longer enjoys having multiplatform games that look or play better than the PS3 versions. In fact, with optional installs, multiplatform games, overall, slightly look or play better (less loading times) on the PS3. Some multiplatform games to be ported will look and play significantly better than the 360 versions. One guaranteed AAA title will very soon arrive in the form of Bioshock 2. It came a year late, but it has improved graphics and additional contents. Another game, Eternal Sonata will also come to the PS3 signficantly improved.

4) Undeniable proof that Xbox 360 has limited the potential of multiplatform games. Because Xbox 360's use of last-gen DVD 9, developer Id lacks the space needed to make their game RAGE according to their original vision. As such, Id had to alter their multiplatform game because of Xbox 360's limitation.

5) Microsoft has appeared desperate. After seeing the PS3 outsold the 360 all over the world, Microsoft, in the span of 3 months has had 2 price cuts and one games bundle (Xbox 360 Pro Holiday Bundle 2008 Includes 60GB Hard Drive). 3 promotions in 3 months!!! How is this not desperate? Perhaps the latest bundle is Microsoft's acknowledgement that the price cuts has moved fewer consoles than they had hoped. Indeed, according to the latest NPD, despite the price cuts last month Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 by less than 50%. This is a disappointment, folks; Xbox 360 underperformed as expected.

6) It is becoming clearer and clearer that the most technically advanced and most innovated console games are found not on the 360 but on the PS3. Metal Gear Solid and LittleBigPlanet say hi!

1. Who actually cares about hd dvd or blu ray??? seriously if you bought a $400 machine to play movies with a little bit better quality your an idiot.

2. First the Ps3 receaved its FIRST AAAE EVERY today so calm down. MGS4 being 360 bound is increasing after every day. and I dont see how braid+ castle crashers dont count they are VERY UNIQUE and fun games. Plus gears of war 2 + fable have a very good chance of being AAA.

3. Bioshock on ps3 is nothign amazing, Bioshock on 360 in auguest 2007 WAS AMAZING. Thats before crysis, COD4, Halo. Bioshock came out BEFORE all those so the only time to ever be TRUELY amazed was at launch which I was.

If you like waiting a year for a few graphical upgrades stick with ps3.

4. The only proof ever of that is RAGE and games like mass effect and GTA prove that its just lazy devs.

5. no comment as thats the dumbest one up there.

6. Only fanboys woudl say LBP couldnt be done on 360, and MGS4 we'll ahve to wait for the port to see.

This is ps3's fall lineup against 360's. I just got a new pc and it kicks ass too bad I play orange box alone now if your wondering about left 4 dead n stuff below.

Resistence 2- A good shooter which is the sequel to a 8.0 will prob get 8.5.

LBP- has the potential to be a very very good game, but if theres too much focus on creating levels it will end up like halo 3's forge ( what happend is for every 1 map someone downloads theres 5 that people created). Also the actual gameplay might not be so good.

Motorstorm- Sequel to a 7.9. Looks like a solid 8.5 this time around.

Socom- Sequel to a 9.0 which I think people underestimate considering how good a shooter has to be these days to get 9.0( this is the shooter gen afterall)Correct me if im wrong but also no singleplayer.

Now 360

Gears of war 2- SEQUEL TO A GOTY and has shown and proved a upgrade in every catagory just like Resistence.

A NEW ****** BANJO GAME- People dont relize that a new fricken banjo game is coming out soon. Even if it will get 8.5

Fable 2- Again people underestimate this as it is a sequel to a 8.6 and again has upgraded in every direction possible with over 3 million sold for the original.

Left 4 dead- A zombie appocolypse made by valve with co op in mind you know the story did I mention valve?

GTA IV Episode 1- Its been annouced this fall but thats about it. Worth mentioning since its a "Big" DLC from a 10.0 game.

As you can see most of ps3's library can be found on 360 but with better versions

R2= Crappy halo

Socom= Graw

Motorstorm= would be really fun if they fixed it

LBP= could be a 10.0 or a 5.0 thats hte problem right now (hopefully 10 so I can pickup a ps3)

Gears of war 2 will outscore Resisetnce 2 and LBP. Gears of war 2 will outsell those 2 COMBINED.
