I UPDATE THIS POST OFTEN SO CHECK IT BACK EACH 2 TO 3 DAYS . AS LONG AS GAMERS POST HERE ILL UPDATE IT, just look at the version of the post if its not the same than the last time, its been updated.
VERSION 6
I got a Xbox360 since daylaunch and i was lucky enough to pre-orders and got the PS3 and Wii on daylaunch too, so with all 3 systems in hand i can tell wich one is better.
Let's begin
XBOX360:
My games: Amped 3, Burnout Revenge, Call Of Duty 2, Condemned, Dead Rising, Dead Or Alive 4, Fuzion Frenzy 2, Oblivion, Gears Of War, Battle For Middle Earth 2, Lost Planet, Madden 2007, NHL 2007, NFS Most Wanted, Perfect Dark 0, Prey, Project Gotham Racing 3, Quake 4, GRAW, Saints Row, Tomb Raider:Legend
My Personnal Favorites: Oblivion, Gears Of War, GRAW
DO NOT PLAY IT: Bomberman, Superman Returns, Pimp My Ride, Eragon, X-men
So i's obvious that i like pretty mutch everything, so im not biased with only one style of gaming. I have to say that since launch im pretty amaze with the 360, i got myself a lot of fun alone, with friends or online and with the original Xbox, it's a great sequel. everyone that wants a great system should get the 360 without fear
Pros:
- Great library of games with a lot of support from 3rd parties
- Online service way ahead
- Achievements points bring new replay value in game
- Interface fluid with alot of options
- Great controller
Cons:
- Overheat
- Noisy
- Downladed stuffs cost more than it should be
- a bit expensive
- too much shooter and sports/racing games and not much of others type of games
In general i gave to my XBOX360:
- Gameplay: 8
- Graphics: 10
- Sound: 9
- Online: 10
- Games: 8
- Controller: 8
- Price: 6
- Gadget: 8
- Interface: 9
- Target ages: 7
Why people buy the 360?: Ok theres a lot of reason, but the principal one IMO are for the online gaming, quality of the graphics and the library of games
PS3
My Games: Resistance, NFS Carbon, F1
My Personnal Favorites: Resistance Fall Of Men, Ridge Racer 7, Fight Night Round 3
DO NOT PLAY: Mobile Suit Gundam, NBA 07, Full Auto 2, Cash Guns Chaos, Untold Legends
I got the 20GB with a HDMI cable for my HDTV and for now on im not really impressed with it. I know that i must gave it time to really enjoy it, but for the price i paid i didn't got the entertaining i wanted for a launch. First of all the interface is the same as the PSP( it's not a bad thing at all, but i thought that they put something new), the system itself plastics is the same as the PSP too so watch out for fingerprints. The launch line-up right now is a near disaster with mostly only 15 or so games out and half of them are sports game and 2 of them Basketball games. Mostly every games i was looking for were pushed back. I know i give a lot of bad credit for it, but it's not a bad system at all, it's a good one, but the price is too high and if you want to be able to play in HD you have to buy cables. The fact that you have a Blue ray is a great addition. The 20gb have no slot for PS2 memory card.
Pros:
- Blue-ray
- USB wire to recharge controller
- Compatibility with PSP in the future
- Quiet
- Backward Compatibility
Cons:
- Way too expensive
- No rumble on the controller
- No use of Siaxis in controller
- Bad launch lineup
- 20GB comes with no slot for memory cards
My PS3 score:
- Gameplay: 7
- Graphics: 9
- Sound: 9
- Online: 8
- Games: 5(for a lack of variety)
- Controller: 7
- Price: 4
- Gadget: 6
- Interface: 8
- Target ages: 6
Why people buy a PS3?: Theres a lot of reason, but the principal ones IMO are the blueray, the fan base and the backward compatibility
Wii
My Games: Wii Sports, Wii Play, Rayman Raving Rabbits, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Excite Trucks, Red Steel, Trauma Center:Second Opinion, Warioware Smooth Moves
My Personnal Favorites: The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Wii Play, Rayman Raving Rabbits
DO NOT PLAY: Far Cry vengeance, Gt Pro Series, Rampage, Monster 4X4, The Ant Bully, Happy Feet, Open Season
For the first time i opened it to now, i enjoy it like it was the first time i got a console. It's a pretty amazing system and it got mostly all to enjoy it. From the inteface to the possibilities of games, i never had fun like that since a long time ago. If you want something different for everyone and have fun, this one is the one for you, if you are able to find one right now. Only bad points is the graphics and the sound that are on pro logic 2.
the online service encounter problem if you have Norton installed on your computer
Pros:
- Innovative Controller
- Come with a game
- Wii connect24
- Free online gaming and browsing
- Virtual console download and Backward Compatibility
Cons:
- Weak on graphics
- No Hard Drive
- Expensive Acessories
- Pro Logic 2 sound
- Must have wireless router or USB adapter to go on the internet
My score for the Wii
- Gameplay: 9
- Graphics: 6
- Sound: 6
- Online: 5( i gave it a 5 because right now we have to wait for it)
- Games: 6(for a lack of variety)
- Controller: 10
- Price: 8( its the lower of them but it still too mutch for what we got)
- Gadget: 7
- Interface: 9
- Target ages: 8
Why people buy a Wii?: Theres a lot of reason, but the principal are IMO the new way of playing games, the backward compatibility, via Virtual console and gamecube games, the price and the 1st party games.
So in the end they all got what it takes to be enjoyable, but some companys put more effort to give what the gamers want. It's up to you to choose.
My choice is:
- XBOX360 for all the games out and the xbox live
- Wii for the new experiences and the price
- PS3 for the future and the blue ray
