30 year old virgins on R6:Vegas talking about how they had sex and describing an ass as a piece of bread. Other then that I've met an idiot on CoD4. I usually play with friends to avoid such things.
I never really understood the MGS series. The AI as highly scripted like in the Splinter Cell games and considering you fail at some point you're gonna have to go through the same thing over and over again- hardly called fun. The main character had a whole arsenal of weapons with him including an RPG, just silly.
And the little touches, like 'reading' a book filled with naked ladies after you've done a barellroll and using a PS3 controller to control a robot, those things feel like they just don't belong in there.
Its probably a great game for fans of the series, but I doubt anyone will buy a PS3 just to play MGS.
[QUOTE="ShmenonPie"]So what if the Halo launch is huge? It doesn't mean that Halo is a good series, does it? No, because Halo is an average, very overrated series. I could understand if one review gave it a bloated score, but how can people be so deluded into thinking this is any better than games like Timesplitters 2, and Unreal Tournament? It isn't, it's just a slow paced shooter with too big a focus on multiplayer.coakroach
If halo 3 has a massive launch it must mean it has a massive fan base, to get that you need a good game

You could throw all the money you have at advertising games like Killzone1 and it would still suck.
Its an action paced RPG or whatever you call one of those :P Imo, the game looks amazing and its a shame they aren't making it for the PS3 aswell, since it offers more raw power compared to the 360 (tho' both are comparable).
Considering Bioware is making it, I'm sure it will be pretty high up there with KOTOR and Final Fantasy games.
