@Vienreich Games that are made today are not being made for gameplay, they are for showing off the graphics. Forget gameplay because the golden age of gaming has passed on and all these supposed AAA games are s overhyped. I am glad I kept my oldies but goodies for even if they are old they are still more fun to play.
I am for it as long as they stick to the formula that made old school games great and I am glad there are people that are trying to keep Old School Games alive because even though they are old they were more fun than some of the modern games that are coming out today. Keep them coming, would love to see Bioforge, System Shock 1 + 2 redone.
I agree with the article's saying Windows 8 had a steep learning curve and the navigation to get to apps was tedious. Looking at the update it might make some tasks easier.
@Grimkillah You may be able to buy physical copies but if it needs a third party to play the game it just as worthless if that third party bottoms up. Some games even if you get a physical copy needs Steam to complete the installation process.
I am not into using the Kinect and it should be sold w/o the Kinect if it is not needed. However, it is MS project so I guess they can do what they want. I may still get it but not right away. I may get the PS 4 first depending what is offered.
@halBU If SimCity for Mac launches without a hitch or bugs that Windows experienced and still is that would be a slap in the face to me. All the beta testing for the Mac should have been done for Windows as well. Oh well we will find out Aug 29.
