I find it weird people complain about the shooting mechanics when the gunplay felt a lot better than the first one which people say is better. :s

I liked the game mostly - had potential to be more but ignoring prerelease hype (which we should this many years down the line) I thought the ending was good and game was fun for the most part (some of the fights in the last section of the game did get boring however due to large enemy spawns and muddy map design). Still one of the best single player Fps in a while.

I found Demon's Souls (and as you mentioned STALKER) far more desolate and for hence depressing games - Dark Souls feels more adventurous due to its more populated world and vibrant aesthetic. In Demon's Souls too having "good" characters like Ostrava and Astraea kill themselves and characters like Yurt and Mephistopheles trying to kill the characters added to that feeling for - made everything feel a bit hopeless and futile.

Thanks for the improvements! I've never run crossfire/sli before - is there anything I should be aware setting up/running it that wouldn't apply to a single card set up?

Yes, what's your current case?

An old Antec case - this one I believe, that being said I think I should maybe get a new one too as that one had issues with dust in my house (very dusty house). It was often hard to prevent dust entering through the top ventilation and accumulating quickly (so would often have to clean it out). Think it would be better to try and get some dust filters for the fans and reuse that case or get a new one?

I'm a noob when it comes to PC building and have been reading around a bit trying to put something together (would like it to be able to run Witcher 3 comfortably etc...) and was wondering if anyone could comment on this preliminary build I've put together and maybe point me in the direction of more information?

My main questions at the moment are:

  • Should I go for 16 gb ram?
  • Is the CPU/GPU choice good? The cost it's at the moment is about what I wanted to spend but I could push it a little higher if need be though would rather not
  • How are the motherboard/PSU I've chosen? I'm not super certain how to choose/compare these components (I've read a few guides and reviews but it is hard to discern still).

I'll choose a case at the end and most of the peripherals I have sorted already (have older ones I'm willing to use until I have more money to upgrade things like the monitor down the track).

Any general tips or advice or comments would be greatly appreciated - nervous to sink money into something and stuff it up - but have been waiting for a while to have the time to do this! Thanks!
