Consider me intrigued, though I'm inclined to agree with a previous poster, is it great because of the rig it was reviewed on or is it great regardless of hardware?
@makchady: As a person who absolutely hates Apple products and will actively disparage their customers for buying their stuff, they have one of the best cores of original programming, bar none, it's worth $10 a month imo.
@davidober: Putting words into my mouth, at no point did I state if you disagree with me that you are a fanboy or can't think for yourself. And I see plenty of thoughtful responses from people who obviously can think for themselves. C'mon man, do better.
I imagine what I'm about to say is probably going to get a lot of fanboys and those that can't think for themselves upset, but I wish I had waited until this was on sale to buy it. It's usually fun and engaging, certainly easy to begin playing, but oh how I hate the turn based combat, it is so painfully slow that it ruins the game for me every time. I have never played D&D so maybe that is a feature and not a bug, but stuff like waiting for every goblin in the castle to move is just...I can't, sorry. All the stuff that is good about it goes out the window when I'm stuck waiting for a mob to get close enough that I can do something to it.
@bdrtfm: I've run into the game freeze enough that I've learned to constantly save, especially after doing something I don't want to repeat. Other than that, enjoying it
