@steelx600: right now sure, just like Nvidia but those days will change, where intel shafted the world with expensive CPU cutting core counts, it monopolised the industry until amd invested heavily with partners, so yes Nintendo may have a huge monopoly on the games people love, it has however made a deal with the devil, only once has Nvidia embarked on mobile gaming, however like Google in 2010 it released it's entire operating system to the world it changed how we use phones today,
While Android Inc. was founded in Palo Alto, California, in October 2003 by Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, Nick Sears, and Chris White. Rubin described the Android project as "tremendous potential in developing smarter mobile devices that are more aware of its owner's location and preferences". The early intentions of the company were to develop an advanced operating system for digital cameras, and this was the basis of its pitch to investors in April 2004. The company then decided that the market for cameras was not large enough for its goals, and by five months later it had diverted its efforts and was pitching Android as a handset operating system that would rival Symbian and Microsoft
(when all Google wanted to do was pitch its operating system to the Japanese market, bringing in better implementation to how SLR cameras work to the main stream public at a fraction of the cost, resulting in a revolutionary age of smart devices) even Microsoft has abandoned phone manufacturing, even with the Nokia buyout a few years ago. The point is Samsung has invested heavily into AMD new DNA architecture, so while it will be expensive it's something Nintendo will forsee when seeing the lessons of monopoly when other manufacturers look to Samsung for inspiration, not that I like Samsung but with the arm Apu, and wauwai patent licenses on certain computer parts it's another reason why Nvidia doesn't readily offer free partnerships unless theres a return.
Brilliant Nintendo, offer a new device that cannot access features the old device can, dejavu poor wiiu.
Best of luck Nintendo fans, Nintendo died after they killed of the game cube, (ahh resident evil )the console was more powerful then PS2 back then, now Nintendo is a iPad wannabe.
Depressing enough my phone plays dream cast in 1920/1080 on 6.9inch screen, with 5500 battery, can't wait til amd floods the Market with top notch phone GPU, rest in Pieces Nintendo, modding community will test through that in no time and strip it to its core enabling Nintendo to rage.
What I dislike about the switch in general is the thumb sticks, one is raised and one is lower.... Sure makes perfect sense I'll use my palm to control the tiny nobs and slap that d-pad a bit. Throws switch in bin and hugs wiiu.
A it looks like a wiiu, honestly I can't see a point for this device, if Nintendo built a powerful console, and built these devices to connect for more resolution and pixel count sure.
But now we have a switch that does all that, but with another handheld device that looks like a switch that's probably less powerful, well what ever the case it should sell low.
All Nintendo people want is a powerful system they don't have to Upgrade playing the games they love.
Anyways I have no Shame sea pirating of Nintendo not that I have, but still with their insane price of Nintendo wiiu games of mario 8 going for 50 bucks screw Nintendo.
