I wonder how controvercial this topic is. i know it's a interesting idea, and no doubt would pc slowly be what it was in the 80's 90's a piece of rew power in todays standards, but if it's true 90 percent of gamers are console owners how factual is 10 for pc percent on a study. that i would be curious about. becuase this play together thing would slowly destory the humble pc. figures should be 25 percent pc users and 75 percnet console users.
Imagine a few kids on xbox are sniping near tree. suddenly sony boys run in, crushing them over with a abram tanks lets say battlefield 3, and the pc gamers can knife them all and go on a frenzy attack. every one wins.
We all remember games like rainbow six vegas pc+xbox where both could play together and finalising who actually is a better gamer. there are other games that fall down this path but utterly failed. "ubisoft" "steam" usually take risks like this and the idea seems good real good. the closest would be ported pc versions mod community maps for the xbox, but this could be the era for what gaming in the future could be. just as face book is a hit when the chances it could have utterly failed. excluding twitter=fail What's your opinion on it. hacked ports where ps3 players hack xbox servers llol. na im joking couldn't happen. Im sure all *pcgamers* out there would love to shoot the hell outta ?console gamer? just as much as a console gamer would do the same to pc gamer. with the introduction to portal 2's pc+console play would you enjoy the next evolution of gaming like this or down another path. settle your issues with pc vs console clan match. as hilarious as it sounds it may not be to far in the distant future. With all the hackers hijacking accounts and so on and cheaters, it would be a worry and a concern too. Do you support this kinda feature that is rare=non existent in the gaming world. After watching the short trailer i did a bit of research and found out that crysis 2 was built with the same core engine visually and powered, so "frost bite" engine may have been down graded or abandoned til further notice, this raises speculation on what this game could evolve too "medal of honor" or simply "crysis 2" That is battle field 3. So cry engine 3 that is actually cry engine 2 just dubbed "3" for the console market it will be 90 percent on battlefield 3 game while retainning 10 percent of dices frost bite engine that mainly consists of destruction and splash damage. add cry engine 3 and it is in a new territory For all those fans out there having any game built from cry engine is simply good thing but i cannot help too wonder if objective wise they'll be heading towards medal of honor approach? while trading the frost bite engine for cry engine 3. Cry tek back in 2009 made announcement that their engine would go global on 2011. I for one embrace this tecnology great architecture, unbelievable developing editor but i wonder as mentioned above will this be a copy of medal of honor, and will it feel like crysis2, we already purchased many titles of "EA"games. they also stated if crysis 2 does not do well in sales they may abandon it and start on new project "time splitters" So before the gaming year even begins with great titles so with that introduction will "battle field 3" be the clear candidate for cry tek to truelly push thier licensed engine or will crysis 2 over shadow battle feld 3.
All the ram would seek is, better quality as so the gpu. as 3 sub levels. only the ones who want the extreme can buy it just like the prosphetic elites. basic and average and extreme
They may have or may have not turned out well, but it did not change the "JAGUAR" OR "GENISIS" back at the time. it was only an option! PLUS I CANNOT SEE how they are even relevent. plus your missing the point if microsoft at the time was willing to build a pointless elite and a pointless kennect port, then in theory it can be done. it all comes down to knowing that it will not risk the console in any way, just giving you an option to add. just like the kennect port on the new xboxes, it's still an xbox it just means it has a kennect port. same for the playstation it has a robust smaller look but even stating this!! it will not and connot compromise the console in any way. it's only an add on
This is based on choice. please do not miss the picture. pc will always be better then consoles, but your missing the picture no body likes change especially for pc's. the majority of times i use pc is for work. but when i come home i like to enjoy the comfort of my home. Like a dj who uses it for music. or Like a web developer who uses it for work same for web designer and architect. and all those fields that require computers. but in the end of the day it comes down to society. 1 person may move a cup! but a thousand can move a mountain So far 20 people have favoured change. i welcome all people pc gamers, wii all people from all walks of life to not judge the topic above but to not only vote on what they would see possible in the near future, but to think of something they would enjoy.
