Adventure will be forever the number one anime from my childhood. I mean the characters , the world, the digimon, the premise, and by god the SOUNDTRACK! Truly memorable. Sigh I miss this show.

I'm fascinated by the way they see things, being so young and all, there's a lot to be learned by just listening to a child think about these questions.
I don't particularly like either of those terms. I like to think of myself as someone that enjoys looking at things in a manner that is different, in a way perhaps that may seem to fit the "smart" or "intelligent" words used here, but which is not in any way dependent upon said perception. Every day I'm surrounded by people that now different things, new things, more things, etc and I enjoy learning what I can from all of them, it is a humbling experience. I think Einstein would probably refuse to label himself as "smart/intelligent", he did something extraordinary by looking at the universe with a different set of eyes, the knowledge wasn't particularly important , it's the way in which we use it to see things that truly makes a difference, I think that's what we should idolize him for, instead of his equations and papers. Perhaps the best way to represent this abstract point is by showing you this quote by Richard Feynman, a quote that summarizes the way in which I live my life day to day, and which I feel sums up the meaning of beauty quite nicely : "I have a friend who's an artist and has sometimes taken a view which I don't agree with very well. He'll hold up a flower and say "look how beautiful it is," and I'll agree. Then he says "I as an artist can see how beautiful this is but you as a scientist take this all apart and it becomes a dull thing," and I think that he's kind of nutty. First of all, the beauty that he sees is available to other people and to me too, I believe. Although I may not be quite as refined aesthetically as he is ... I can appreciate the beauty of a flower. At the same time, I see much more about the flower than he sees. I could imagine the cells in there, the complicated actions inside, which also have a beauty. I mean it's not just beauty at this dimension, at one centimeter; there's also beauty at smaller dimensions, the inner structure, also the processes. The fact that the colors in the flower evolved in order to attract insects to pollinate it is interesting; it means that insects can see the color. It adds a question: does this aesthetic sense also exist in the lower forms? Why is it aesthetic? They are remarkable, I don't think faith plays a role in my view of them. A number will work within what it's assigned to represent, the only think that is left in doubt is wether they wholly represent what we expected, and wether that expectation reflects on reality based on our assumptions.
Mostly sensationalist crap, but even then the core act of this being a sensible thing to do should provide a decent amount of material to reach some unfortunate conclusions about the way in which many choose to participate in the national dialog.
Now, they could do this nifty test and release both a kinect packed in and a kinect-less model at 100/150 dollar discount and see what the customers buy, then they will know if kinect does play a meaningful role in people's decisions. I still think that SONY will beat them, while microsoft is scrambling to backtrack on their ill perceived decisions, SONY is probably focusing on consolidating a full gaming and services platform that they can quickly develop within a year.
Regardless of who the mask was depicting, I find it unfortunate that a person would ask for someone else to be hurt for representing something that others oppose. Such an act hardly seems to bring about any sort of meaningful argument that may aid an honest discussion about what is disliked in the president and his policies, and rather seems to advocate for blind adversarialism.
Brilliant idea, I actually think that making it run adjacent to modern highways factors into the actual cost reduction versus a high speed train, given that the land that must be appropriated is mostly already done so or cheap. burying it underground would only increase the cost of the project and terrorism would be a concern either way and in th event that such an event ocurred an underground facility would be much harder to safely evacuate and mantain. I hope that he gets around to making this, because I doubt that anyone else would care to make it a relaity even if it is a practical solution.
