I find it increasingly ironic that the prosecutor is advocating the jurors to use their common sense to analyze everything in the case, when an hour ago they were requesting child abuse as one of the possible outcomes of said evidence , ridiculous!

I don't see the justification, the facts mostly favor Zimmerman's account and expose a massive amount of reasonable doubt surrounding the events.

u have to keep in mind, zimmerman lied several different times.

That may or may not be true, but it doesn't remove the reasonable doubt element that by law should prevent a lawful conviction. The prosecution has not proven anything nearly close to this high standard and their pursuit for a Felony charge based on child abuse seems to proof that they are seeking different alternatives (thankfully this was denied).

[QUOTE="lordtree4"][QUOTE="KC_Hokie"] I guess no more than 2-3 hours.

2nd degree murder should be ruled out in about 30 seconds. Manslaughter could last longer.

KC_Hokie
I think they will make their decision tomorrow afternoon, worse case scenario early on Monday.

Depends how long closing arguments take. If they only take a total of 30-45 minutes or so I bet they'll have a verdict by tonight sometime.

Hopefully, but I'm not too optimistic as to that being the case. I also think that they don't have a final copy of the jury instructions, but they could fix that quickly, lets see how the day ends.

[QUOTE="lordtree4"]The defense is tripping over the introduction of this "child abuse" element that they were just informed about. Don West's reaction is priceless. :DKC_Hokie
It's pretty weird that they all of a sudden broke out 'child abuse'. Likely not to be allowed.

I think I missed the courts decision, but the fact that Mark O'mara isn't in the courtroom would indicate that he's working on their closing arguments and hopefully mounting a defense from this new instructions.

I will say Atheist, based not on an inherent certainty of there being no form of higher entities like God, Q, Spaghetti Monsters, etc, but instead simply on my view of existence and life as being nothing more than a specific( wether random, or divinely devised is not important) state of matter in an entity that I call self. This one 'self' is in essence not bounded by anything to its higher "creator" ( random chance, god, cake, etc) , and instead should instead focus on giving meaning to its existence in a form that it so choses. To put it simply, if I was God I would want my creations to forget about me and worry about what they want their own existence to mean, whatever that may be.

Hopefully Richard Doyle can do the voice acting for Big Boss if David Hayter isn't casted.
