well I recently got windows vista and I have a couple of questions

  1. how do I get rid of the startup programs?
  2. if I choose to get another computer to replace this one is there any way I could get vista and photoshop on that computer?

if someone would be kind enough to answer these questions i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance-AlbertC

Um. Reinstall Vista and Photoshop on the other computer o.O

Um, you don't delete files in the control panel. To uninstall drivers, boot up your computer in safe mode (just to be safe), go to your device manager, find the hardware you want to uninstall and uninstall the driver's there. You can find more detailed steps on how to boot up your computer in Safe Mode and how to get to your device manager by searching Google.

If you're a serious gamer, that minds whether or not your computer is rendering graphics using DX-10, then get Vista. If you just want to play the games and you're fine with playing them with DX-9, get XP. You don't need to waste the extra money

When your computer starts up, press F8 before Windows loads up (the bar scroll screen).

If you have an old motherboard/PSU, switch out your current one, and put the old one in. If your computer works without problem, then the fault lies in the hardware you switched out.

The 7900 is a pretty recent graphics card as well as being one of the last models in the 7000 series. You'll be able to play most games at high res settings without problem.
