Because someone wants to play on new maps and feels the enjoyment that would be brought by doing so justifies the price of entry? I don't know, something like that...MLBknights58Back in the golden days, map packs were a way to say thank you to the fans and customers.

After doom 2.[QUOTE="lucky_star"]

I think after Rage, nobody gives a sh1t about this guy anymore.

Quake 3 says hello. Also Doom 3 wasn't bad. But I'll agree his engines were better than the games themselves. Will be hard matching the engine competition again tho (let alone surpass).
Unreal Tournament 1999 was/is better :P Ok quake 3, but anything after that has been crap IMO.[QUOTE="Mr_BillGates"][QUOTE="lostrib"]It has a codename of GK104--the 4 indicates this was suppose to be mid range. nVidia high-end models ALWAYS end with a 0. The GK110 GPU will probably be the revision of this series (GTX780). If they don't want to play catch up with AMD anymore they will need to have a quick revision release. Maybe by the end of this Year. Yeah, the rumor is that the 680 was supposed to be the 670ti, but nvidia did too good so they are selling it as the 680... That explains the price point too.Yeah the GTX 680 is not mid range. I would like to see how the nvidia mid range compete and at what price--probably the 650-670

Can't you read the GPU-Z screenshot?
"Default Clock" was 706 Mhz i.e. refer to GPU-Z screenshot.

Right, I said that the last one was the only one where they showed they overclocked.
That's the last pic in the link :P
They all show 1006 Mhz core i.e. 30 percent overclock over 706 Mhz core.AFAIK it does not have an 706mhz core, The new drivers and updated CPUZ proved that.
EDIT:core clock is 1006 MHz and Boost-freq 1058 mhz
You sound really butt hurt over 680 winning, 99% of sites that reviewed the card clearly states that its the best single GPU card on the market hands down, with a lower price than what AMD has to offer...
In race, it doesnt matter if you win by a mile or an inch, you still win.
So deal with it, and stop whining on the hardware forums too.
It can be done. its just marketing bs. Ps2 had this with socom. It looks interesting, but I have a question about it. Why can't it be done on an ordinary mic connected to the console? I know Tom Clancy's EndWar can be controlled by voice command using any mic connected to the game, why Bioware have to using Kinect for it?

I guess it's not stable, then? Did you run IBT or Prime? Upped the volts?C_RuleTo be honest i havent done any tests at 4.0ghz, maybe i should :P It just seemed to be working for a few days. Im not gonna mess with the volts. I'll do a stability test at 4.0ghz later today.
But do you think a possible unstability can be the cause for this? Just software error, not a single BSOD.
