Thanks. New gpu will probably be next year. Cpu is my main bottleneck atm. Been a slight change in plan,

Looking at a i5 and was looking at this OC'd option http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...3_cw38/bigbox3

When priced up individually it comes to £363 with P+P against £405 for the pre overclocked one.

Done a little overclocking but am willing to learn to save £40.

My question is, is there anything people would change in that pre overclocked build if they were doing it individually? Dont mind spending a few pound more if it was going to help assuming i can still get to 4.2- 4.4ghz when i try OC.

AC3 runs fine on my pc on the ship but once off it i cant get above 14 fps. My 6870 handles it fine but my intel core 2 due e8200 just cant cope at stock speed, its running at 100%.

Could it be your cpu holding you back?

Hey,

Im looking to upgrade my MOBO CPU and Ram. Decided the easiest way to do this was buy one of scans OC'd bundles.

Looking at the i5 bundle for £386 and was just wondering if people know of any issues with any of the components or know of a better way of doing this.

http://www.scan.co.uk/3xs-overclocked-bundles

I have a 6870 GPU and 550W Antec power supply. The system will be mostly used for BF4, AC3 and GTA V when it comes out :P

Thanks for any help
