any help

does any 1 remember war zone 2100 for the ps1? its the best stratergy game iv ever played and loved it. it had features newer games are only just coming up with and had so many units and upgrades. allowed you to design your own tank combinations to suit your style. e.g fast n light or slow but heavy etc was great

after 40 hours of campaigns i was still unlocking new upgrades and tank designs:)

also any one know if there is a modern follow up to this game.

supreme commander seems similar in some ways aprt from the emence zoom of course.

whats the deal with wide screen monitors for games does it look any different etc thana normal flat pannel monitor

does it cut down the game screen or strech it?

i bleive codezer is right in the fact a quad core would allow me to get the full potential from the game but at a stupidly high cost. and thats where your way off your not relating what your saying to my needs and abilities ie money!

as long as it has decent graphics its the game play im more concerned about. so im going to do some research on my budgets etc. then get my computer technician friend to build it for me when i get paid in a month or so. so exspect to see some more posts from me asking for your help again:)

i just googled the 8800 gtx and i came up with prices like £300 at 700mb

thats way past my budget so the 8600 would have to do
