Yes, I'm finally back home, well I actually returned two days ago but I was too tired to blog this and yesterday I was too busy playing Valkyria Chronicles, which means, I got a PS3, my PSN ID is Luisen12 so all you guys that want to add me, do so.

I got all the games I wanted and also got Odin Sphere and a copy of Fina Fantasy VII: Advent Children which was free with the PS3, I've already seen it, so I don't think I'll bother, still free stuff is always nice.

I told Hazelnutman I would give a mini-review of the official transalation the Haruhi Suzumiya novel. The translation is very well done, but like you said, they did tweak a bit of the references, most of them were the ones that were not possible to translate, but they didn't change the important ones so it shouldn't be bothersome, I never really noticed until I checked the fan-translations. Overall, if you want to read the novel without having to tire your eyes looking at the screen, get the novel, it is much easier to read, mainly because it is organized better, so that's it. If it is a factor to you, the drawing are better looking that the ones on baka-tsuki.

Ending that topic, I got some bad news today, one my best friends is moving to another city due to a scholarship he got, it's a great opportunity and I'm really happy for him, but I don't really know what I'll do, this has never happened to me before and he's the guy I spent the lunch breaks, what I mean is, I won't have anyone to talk to since my other good friend is always with his girlfriend. Let's just hope things work out when school starts.

So that's all there is to this blog, now if you'll excuse me, I have a war to win and lots of anime to watch.

My family's obligatory vacation-trip of the summer is going to start soon, it's nothing very excting, we're only going to visit the US, but I think we're going to go to some beach or something like that, don't really know the details since I'm not very interested on it.

As to what I'm actually interested is getting me some new games, I haven't bought any since april and I really want to play something new, I've only been playing Fate/Stay Night and since it's only reading, the eyes hurt after a while. But lets leave that aside to the important thing, what games am I buying? Here's the list:

*Obviously, will only be bought if I acquire a PS3.

On non-gaming related expenses, I'll finally get my hands on "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Vol. 1" that it's already waiting for me to read it in the place we'll be staying, I'm glad I didn't read the fan translation of this novel, I will be able to get the full experience out of it.

So, yeah, that's pretty much it, I'm not going to be here starting this wednesday, being absent for a week, so don't go getting banned, I want to find everything as I left it, ok? ok.

Like Neku, I too enter a stage of rage when I got finals.

Wee! Finals are here, but I have mixed feelings, I want the year to end but I hate finals, they get me really nervous and I don't like being nervous. Unlucky me I didn't exempt many assignments and our Literature teacher went nuts and left us a huge investigation instead of an exam, I have used around 20 pages and I'm not even halfway through.

But left forget about school. What else is happening this week? E3.

So, Microsoft Conference, all I got to say is: wow. But I still hope Nintendo tops them, I still have hope. (also for the fact that I got the Wii instead of a PS3 so they better deliver).

Speaking of the PS3, if I manage to save $200 by the 4th of July my dad will give me the rest to buy one, so wish me luck on this one. (For I suck at saving money).

Is that time of the year alright, I got exams, then I got everybodies favorite, the unforgettable finals. Don't you all love this? the pressure, the anxiety and above all, stress! Don't you all love exams? I totally do! I love it when I have to study for them in my free time, it's not like I could do anything else! It comes with nature you see, teenagers don't have anything to do, ever. Whenever we ain't doing homework or studying we are just waiting for the next day so we can go to school. And that is the truth. (Or atleast the one teachers choose to believe in, it's like they forgot they were teenagers some time too and I doubt they enjoyed all this.)

P.S. People that enjoy studying scare me.

P.P.S Maybe I should change High Schools..

Since past Monday I have been "glued" to my house, fault falls on the damn "Swine Flu" otherwise know as "My Dad's Paranoia" but it's not like I had other thing to do, with schools closed and me being socially awkward I had little if nothing to do, I finished Persona 4 and I'm not the kind that makes multiple playthroughs in games, so I was left with only two things: anime and GS.

Indeed, some of you may have noticed I spent too much time on GS (not counting that day I was suspended) keeping myself entertained but it still wasn't enough do I moved to the next thing: anime, to keep things short I just stood up to date with the shows I'm watching and nothing else.

In conclusion, I probably just felt like being lazy, and that laziness turned to boredom.

I want Chie's jacket, but alas, I can't import it, add that to the list of reasons as of why I hate living on Mexico and also add that fact I can't find games anywhere! I went looking for a copy of ICO and looks like they removed it from their list of games, so I'll have to wait to go to the US and hope I find a copy which means me saving more money since if I where to go, I would have to buy other games too.

This is nothing more than a rant, feel free to rant with me, the more the merrier!

So my "Spring Break" is finally over, got school tomorrow, didn't miss it a bit, last few days went by fast, I blame SMT: Persona 4 for being so goddamn entertaining I haven't finished the thing and I already want SMT: Persona 3, the series sure got potential to become one of my favorites alongside "Harvest Moon", "The Sims" and most recently "The World Ends With You".

In Persona 4 that is.. (misleading titles FTW!)

Let's just see how much does this affect the storyline (I'm guessing not much, don't tell me though), So far I have been loving the game, something about it just sucks me in, be it the characters, story, gameplay, combat, etc. Everything is lovely.

On other RPG related news I just saw some videos of the FFXII Trail Version so far it looks good and I'm glad they removed the random encounters (I'm not sure about this but I inferred it from what I saw) and the combat seems far more entertaining.

Now if you'll excuse, I'm off to sleep.

As they say, better late than never. I bought from a friend at $44, pretty cheap. I got it for the sudden need to play Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 and Shadow of the Colossus and maybe after I'll find some other games to play (any recommendations?).

In other news my "spring break" starts next week and I hope I'll finish various games in that time (I think two weeks). Yep, I got a lot of gaming to do, and some anime to watch. (With the whole Spring Season starting)
