I valet cars

Is that job as glamorous as I imagine? Do you often get to hop into slick cars for just that brief moment to park them?

My job is awesome, and yes I get to jump into cars for a whole 2 minutes to park them and back up into parking spaces. It's like a puzzle trying to park them all, and fitting between two and strategizing the best place to park each car, determining how big the car is, and the best fit.

The worst part is when they leave a fart trap in their car for you.

But it is fun to drive other people's cars if even only for a few minutes.

So essentially you get to play tetris and drive a bunch of cars everyday for money. That does sound sweet.

Earth is corrupt, broken.
It is a f**ked up place full of f**ked up people doing f**ked up things.

Most kids are drinking, smoking and having sex by the age of 14 and taking class A narcotics by the age of 16, What happened?

I went to my FIVE year old nephews hip hop dance concert thing the other day, and one of the groups was a bunch of little girls covered in makeup wearing tiny skirts who's routine involved doing the BOOTY CLAP like 5 times.
and when i looked around i swear i was the only one who felt awkward for seeing prepubesent little girls shake there butts at us.

WHAT HAPPENED TO INNOCENCE?

[QUOTE="MrGeezer"] Talent doesn't entitle someone to money or fame or youtube views. Neither does intelligence, neither does hard work. There are a $***load of people who are VERY good at making crap that no one wants. There are a bunch of very intelligent people who don't provide anything useful to anyone. There are a hell of a lot of extremely hardworking people making barely more than minimum wage. Eh...screw "talent". Talent doesn't entitle people to money or fame or respect unless that talent results in something that people actually want. You can be the best there is at something, but if it's something that pretty much no one gives a $*** about...well then, good luck getting any money or respect out of it. jsmoke03

You're right, but people DO give a s**t about music. We live with it, its a part of everyones lives.
And people ARE making millions of dollars from the terrible music we hear on the radio every day, and if anyone is going to get paid why shouldn't it be the people who actually take the time and effort to produce GOOD tracks?
These artists are just ridiculous, they are terrible at what they do and they are the worst thing for our kids to grow up watching and idolizing to be.
I'm only 20 and I dont have kids but I cant imagine many people would disagree with what I just said.

lukey- what you are talking about is your opinion of good music. to some people, hiphop music isn't even musical talent....i'm not saying that hiphop is bad, i personally love hiphop....but just recognize that even what you are saying is opinion. how can you say packin gats is bs when the west coast movement, a big part of hiphop, is bs.....if you love hiphop...you gotta love all of it, the good and the bad...cuz right now you sound like every backpack hiphop head that isnt even legal enough to drink

I know its just my opinion, i stated that in one of the posts in that quote. And i know how hip hop evolved, i've watched it grow and im just saying rap songs about how many gats you hold and how you hate the police are old. Those days of thug rap is over. Rappers are more intelligent and are starting to use techniques in ways that wasn't even heard of 10 years ago. Talent is talent, whether in your opinion the music sucks you still cant deny if it required effort to make. I wouldn't sit here listening to Mozart in a million years, its just not my thing. But even I can agree the man had skill. See what im saying?

There are alot of people saying if you dont like mainstream music it makes you either a hipster or a metalhead?

I'll listen to anything that actually took talent to make.
Mainly Hip hop, I love listening to different MC's and paying attention to their word structure, how well they incorporate multi's.. things that take actual skill.

And it really annoys me when I listen to their songs on youtube and I notice they have less than 10,000 views, they put alot of work into albums that they release for free just for the hype and radio stations still wont play the songs.

Everyone has a different taste in music for sure, but you can't deny talent. These MC's are making songs about real stuff, using actual lyrical techniques that involve a huge amount of skill and a good vocabulary.

Rapping about packing gats and stackin' cash is lame. No one wants to hear that boring s**t.

If anyone else is interested in Hip Hop, and doesn't mind an Australian accent let me know and I can put some links on here and show you exactly what I mean by real talent being slept on every single day in this country.

I did the unemployement thing too, I left school when I was 16, sat on my ass and played games for a year and a half which was amazing at first.. but it slowely sent me crazy.

So, it was time for a job. Now i've been jumping between a few factorys through an agency for the past 3 and a half years. Not the best job thats for sure, I wish i was doing something with I.T. like most of you guys.

Obviously not everyone hates them.

And you have to attribute some of their fame to marketing, but aside from that, maybe people legitimately like their music.

That cannot be.

Why are all these globally hated artists still so famous?

Why is real talent getting slept on every day, while these talentless hacks reap all the glory and get all the radio time?

Why is the world so twisted, why why why why WHY?
