My guess is that they're saving some good songs for future games. Also, the strum bad has been made quieter than past games, and I personally don't like the completely silent strum of Rock Band. However, the GH multiplayer is a little choppy. I like the Rock Band way of both failing out and using star power. Rock Band also looks better with the bar down the side instead of the dinky thing in the corner. Other than those little problems, I really like GHWT.

The GH3 guitars are forwards compatible and the GHWT guitars are backwards compatible.

I like the style and controllers (drumset especially) of Guitar Hero better. But Rock Band's multiplayer gameplay is better than GH:WT with things like Star Power, failing out, and just overall smoothness. I like GH's setlist better. I would suggest getting Guitar Hero full band and then buying Rock Band 2, because the GH:WT instruments work on RB2 but RB2 instruments don't work for GH.

My favorite character in Mario Kart has always been Yoshi, since we got started when MK64 came out. Unfortunately, my older brother always took Yoshi. In MK64 I cycled back between Mario, Luigi, and DK. Double Dash, I would take one of the super characters. With Wii, I take Luigi when my brother's playing.

Guitar Hero World Tour. That's all I got, and I'm happy. I also got cheese whiz, but I don't think that's Wii related.

I don't care about the "word on the street", the GHWT drums are a lot better. When it comes ro playing Rock Band with them, it might be harder to do, but still more fun. As for reliable, the drums work fine for me so far. The Rock Band drums have had problems in the past, I dunno if they fixed em for RB2 or not. Personally, I like the Guitar Hero gameplay better, but I might be in the minority. Anyway, I got GH for Xmas so I'll probably pick up Rock Band as soon as I can. I think that's the best idea.

I have Brawl, Twilight Princess, and MP3. I always intended to get Galaxy, but somehow I never got around to it. And how come Mario Kart Wii isn't on this list? I think it's better than any on here, 'cept maybe Galaxy or TP.

If I do say so myself, I'm good with the majority of the characters. I think Olimar is just awful, and seeing what some people do with Sonic I'm really bad with him. I'm not great with R.O.B. or Wario I could win a battle with pretty much anybody else. I think I'm best with Captain Falcon, cause I've mastered the mix of power and speed with him, and Ike is my favorite and I'm good with him. I'm also good with Ganondorf, all the sword characters, all the Star Fox characters, Ness and Lucas, and Bowser.

P.S. I was really good with Roy too.

So, I'm thinking of purchasing Guitar Hero: World Tour sometime soon. Thing is, I am confused about this whole band kit. And thus, I ask the following questions: What purpose has the band been created? To allow 4 players to play the game each one using a different instrument? Will I miss on something if I choose to buy the game along with a second guitar instead? (e.g. Will I be unable to play some of the songs?) Georgemen

The band was basically so they could compete with rock band. You can still play all the songs anyway. If you want to play drums (you don't have to) you can use a wii mote and nunchuk, but its not as fun.
