[QUOTE="mariokart64fan"]Yet platformers have pretty much died out in recent years.

[QUOTE="mariokart64fan"]wiis also king of any genre lol ,RobbieH1234

Except shooters, strategy games, adventure games, racers, simulations and role playing games.

ps3 and 360 share games wii dont , lol have fun playing the same games over and over and over againmariokart64fan
Yet the Wii has by far the weakest library of games.

The level of ignorance that you displayed in that one post is staggering. I can only hope that your other ~7000 posts weren't as laughable.

First of all 2760 dollars for the pc u just mentioned hahah where u buyin ur pc? a prebuilt one from best buy. lol. Secondly ya idiot yes it is a good thing u can use a console controller on a pc.. ever used an emulator? newb. And last but not least... all that work and all you do is look like a huge nerd and a jack off.

[QUOTE="simardbrad"]

Why is everybody telling him to go for an i7?

Then you have to buy: a new motherboard (LGA 1366 are very freaking expensive), get the i7 (there goes 300-400) and some new DDR3 ram (which is buttload expensive too)

There'd be close to no point, might as well just build a new system.

lucky326

In my country the price recently dropped overnight and it's possible to have a very good system for 1000GBP which is excellent value.

wow im shocked 2,000 dollars... pretty much 2000 dollars since 100 dollars = 90 GBP .. actually i guess its more than 2000 dollars. its... 2760.00..geesh. anyways i think u should wait and get something like this when it drops down a little. ASUS P6T Intel Socket LGA1366 Barebone Kit - Intel Core i7 920, 12GB Corsair DDR3-1333, 1TB SATA2, Clear Side ATX Mid-Tower, 650W http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4483696&Sku=B69-1019 $999..after that all you'd need is a graphics card... or by that time two connected together.

its a jump up but its better to wait and check out your options rather than buy quickly and be sorry about it. Anyways after a while you ought to have a little bit more money than you already do .. which would increase ur options. BTW the thing i just showed is for around 723.91 GBP. If you search around newegg.com and tigerdirect your sure to find what your looking for.

And in answer to your question.. whats your frontside bus speed? Your FSB bottlenecks your processor speed. So if you had a 888 mhz FSB upgrading really wouldn't help too much considering data gets backed up already. I remember this because a computer scientist told me that even with the fastest processor in the world it doesnt really matter because your frontside bus is how some components communicate with your processor.
