Those things are nice. But NOTHING beats resolution.
That is false, according to the Imaging and Science Foundation the 4 most important aspects to picture quality are. 1. Contrast 2. Color Saturation 3. Color Acuracy 4. Resolution All in that order. And I I can even argue that a Plasmas hold times are 4 times better than a 60hz LCD and 2 times better than a 120hz LCD, therefore leading to better motion resolution.

I'm 10 ft away from my 64" Plasma, and 2-3 ft away from my Apple 1440p monitor. The extra resolution is not perceivable, the better blacks, better color saturation, and better motion resolution of the Plasma is night and day difference vs the IPS monitor

All a PC gamer need to do to crush next-gen consoles is upgrade the CPU to an AMD 8350 and the GPU to a 780 which has 3.9 TFLOP (vs PS4's 1.8 TFLOP or XONE's 1.3 TFLOP). The upgrade would set back a gamer only $850. That's loose change for most gamers. Game over buddy, game over. Kjranu

My wifes PC doesn't but she still has a Steam installed and an account, she never plays anything more complicated than Howrse and Candy Crush, therefore no need to upgrade it.

Lol my Console Setup takes a dump on your PC Setup Nobody cares about your TV or speaker set up. Everyone owns a tv. Not every TV/monitor is created equal. 1440p LCD's suck

However that same time frame as the PS3 released the 8800GTX was unleashed providing 3x the performance with 3x the memory then either console. Fast forward in 2013 these upcoming consoles are not even in the same ratio as before with power. Cpu wise these consoles are packing low end low tdp cpu's meant for laptops and tablets and are not any faster then desktop quad core cpu's from 2008 onward. then we move onto the gpu where using the PS4 as the base as being the fastest of the two is already nearly two years behind in processing performance. i didnt see that difference vs ps3 exclusives or xbox 360 exclusives and again this gen the same thing I agree with you 100%, preach it brotha
