If you already own a 360, a PS3, and a HDTV, why not get a HD-DVD add on?  It will make the HDTV more worth the cost.

[QUOTE="jdang307"][QUOTE="m3Boarder32"]For Superman Returns, HD-DVD would be the better choice.

Only the HD-DVD version of Superman Returns has High Def Extras.
Only the HD-DVD version of Superman Returns has a lossless audio track, the BluRay version has Dolby Digital 5.1, the HD-DVD version has TrueHD Dolby Digital 5.1...

The audio bitrate of the HD-DVD version is about 5 times greater than the Bluray audio bitrate.

End the thread because of one movie. I'm sorry no.

Too bad the add-on doesnt support the TrueHD

He asked which version of Superman Returns is better,  and Superman Returns is better with the Xbox HD-DVD drive,  its better now because it has exclusive Hi Def Extras,  and it has the potential to be better in sound with the rumoured future firmware, that will allow 360 to output DOlby Digital Plus

Read the Topic Creators 1st post,  not the title of the thread.  He asked which version of Superman Returns was better,  the HD-DVD version is better.  /Thread

[QUOTE="Col_Swamp"]i hope they add a multi tasking function with their d/l and music/video/game options on XMB.eclipsed4utoo
that is for the 1.6 update

Dont forget the DTS-HD Master Audio decoders,  honestly, i think the big update will be 2.0,  too many upgrades to just be a .06 jump
