I just paid off both pre-orders of Halo3 and NBA 2K8. I will have in my possession the two hopefully best games of the year for FPS and sports categories. The problem is that I will probably have no time to even play them like I want to. Getting older, I have noticed that as I gain more responsibilities, (marriage, kids on the way, coaching sports) I have way less time to really sit down, get confortable and play a game or games for a couple of hours. I am starting to feel like and old man at 25 years of age. I knew I would be getting busy once I started really pursuing goals and dreams I have and still want to accomplish, but dang..........It will come at the price of me spending doing one of my favorite hobbies, which is playing video games.

My Xbox 360 was sent in for service this week. I dont know what is wrong with it but I have had problems with it from jump street. I like it and the graphics, but I htink I just got one of those defective systems microsoft shipped out. THye told me if they cannot fix it then I would get a brand new one. Too bad I did not have the extended warraty on itt, so it costed me $140, for the service. I hope they just give me a new one.

The problem was that it froze almost everytime I played. Then Last week it would be on for 2 minutes and it started making a funny noise and the screen got distorted and snowy. It wasnt over heated and I got no red lights on it. I also hope I can get it back by next week because I wanted to get gear of war. no use gettting it if I cannot play it.

I dont know if its just me but it looked like Bestbuy.com has Halo 3 preorder for $60 bucks and it says that it is supposed top come out this year November 16th.  on gamespot it says 2007 TBA--If you read this check it out--I have played it b-4 and might get it for online play when it comes out

Just got my 360 two weeks ago or so and i like it. I got it on the HD tx and it looks great. Wissh I ad more money for games, but o well. I will get a game a month for the summer. I cant wait till double agent comes out, and superman, and gears of war. Playstation is said to be better, but we will see. For now i am happy with the 360.

I just decided and made the order-- I am now an Xbox 360 owner. PS3 will cost way too much and I am not sure about this whole bluray stuff. I guess time will tell but for now--Xbox 360 is where I will be laying my hands on this summer

I am now saving up for my playstation 3 for November. That is also my birthday month so I should be getting some of the money back from the presale/reserve that I will be getting into next week. I hope the do make a million to start out with so that they will have an abundance of PS3's for everyone who want one, which also may bring the price down a little. I wonder if XBOX360 prices will come down as a result of so many to be shipped? Well the countdwon begins. Around 8 months and some change left. GET READY!!!

I live in Southern Cali, and I dont know about where anyone else is but it is hot as hell out here. Other than Vegas or Arizona, the heat is almost unbearable. A trip to the pool are in my future.

As I currently save up for a PS3 and at leas three games to go along with it, I ponder the question, Is it worth it? I will give myself a year waiting after it comes out before I go get one. And by that time, if I don't want one anymore, I can use my saved money to buy some furniture or something.

I am pretty excited about the video titles coming up representing NBA basketball. ESPN has done a great job with the NFL 2k5 title, and it didnt hurt the game costing only $20. I am skeptical though about ESPN's NBA title, just because I thought it was not up to par. I also thought Live was horrible, especially its gameply and shooting system. But now I have learned that Live 2005 will have the dunk contest, which I have been wanting ever since the original Playstation came out. But only time will tell which title will end up on top, and maybe even which development company will end up on top-- ESPN or EA.
