It is nothing but a good thing that his standards are this high that a critically acclaimed series comes off as sucky to him. It is refreshing to see someone who cares about detail as much as he seems to. When you develop a game for as long as you do, you tend to see the flaws much more.

I'd hate to be one of his employees though :P...

It's because there is so much wrong with the game, yet they are using resources they could be using to fix the problems with the game instead on stupid **** like this that noone cares about.

People who think this is a win for AMD (aka console fanboys) need to reread the article, then actually learn about Nvidia's business vs AMD's.

Fixed: Maxis spent a year listening to EA tell them to shout down and discredit the fans. Lets be real here. There's been rumors of a lot of in-house disagreements between EA and Maxis on this.
