I really should catch up with my gaming. Been away from my home for so long that I am worried I have forgotten how to use a controller -_-
From what I have read in this topic I need to play The Walking Dead, X-COM & Dishonored. Any other recommendations?
Hi people!
It's been a while since I was last on, so you guys/girls probably won't remember me. I've been off touring in Japan, getting to see a lot of that beautiful country & most importantly going backstage at a few of the puroresu events. This was an amazing experience that I'll never forget & I was lucky enough to meet a couple of wrestlers backstage, such as;
Shuji Kondo: I must admit, being face to face with Shuji was quite intimidating, but he was actually a really nice guy to talk to. I only got to shake his hand & have a conversation with him for about five (or so) minutes. We mostly talked about how he got into the business. Not something I will ever forget, though.
Minoru Tanaka: I didn't get to have a conversation with Minoru, but I did get to shake his hand & wish him well. Seemed like a nice guy.
Taiyo Kea: Taiyo was actually great to talk to & had quite a fair bit to say. Mostly about how he got into the business, but also what his future plans are. A surprisingly nice guy.
There were a few more, some of which I didn't actually know whom they were. I did get to shake hands with a few of them & I was so happy with how much freedom I was allowed backstage. I shouldn't have been able to speak to anyone, really. I'm glad I had the opportunity too do so, though. I also got to see & talk to a lot of the backstage crew at each show I went to & saw people like Masakatsu Funaki, Takao mori, Manabu Soya & Seiya Sanada. Sadly there wasn't much of an opportunity to get to speak to these wrestlers.
The events I attended were;
5/25/2012 NOAH Shinshu Sky Park Gymnasium
6/13/2012 NOAH Korakuen Hall in Tokyo (Mitsuharu Misawa memorial night)
7/16/2012 NOAH Toyama Industrial Exhibition Building Techno Hall
9/8/2012 AJP Korakuen Hall in Tokyo
9/16/2012 AJP Mikawa Town Gymnasium in Yamagata
9/17/2012 AJP Hachinohe Seagull View Hotel Gymnasium in Aomori
9/23/2012 AJP Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium inKanagawa
Words cannot descibe what an exhilarating & life changing experience this was for me. I literally lived in Japan with my wife for about six months, moving from location to location for these events. One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited & I can't wait till I go back again. Getting to see fantastic wrestling & being backstage for some was the greatest bonus to a holiday you could ever ask for.
As for the which is better question. I don't think I can decide between Mario & Zelda. Both have left me with memory's I'll never forget & that's all that counts in the end.
Best ~ HBK/HHH
Runner Up ~ Jericho/HHH
Worst ~ Cm Punk/Taker
Runner Up ~ Taker/HHH
I've only seen five of these types of matches. They were,
HBK/HHH
Jericho/HHH
Taker/Lesnar
Cm Punk/Taker
HHH/Taker
My opinion can't really be judged as the best when it comes to Hell in a Cell matches.
[QUOTE="madmaxwarrior"]Hey guys! I would love to watch this ppv but only if you would recommend it. I only really care about the Bryan vs. Punk match. Was it any good?AndyWilliams24
Here's the link.
Go watch it, then come back and tell us what you think. It was mostly a pretty good show, with the odd hiccup of "why" moments.
Worth a watch, though, buddy.
^_^ Thank you! I'll give my thoughts & feelings when I've finished.
