This sounds like a stock hike scheme. They're just trying to jack up stock prices and then sell off before everyone realizes they were lying. That, is fraud by the way and if that is the case I hope they are caught and I think the FBI should be suspicious of a independent company getting into major hardware operations considering the amount of capital needed to invest in such a project, someone should see if they have the bank to make this happen.
They don't have it in for the ps3. I think they just didn't acknowledge that the ps3 has better looking exclusives and that the effects and physics on the ps3 work better with exclusives and in some cases with cross platform games. Though I don't see the blurriness I just see smoothing.
The only thing that you can tell from this is that developers aren't putting enough time into ps3 programming. If you look at the exclusives the ps3 has definent strengths over the 360.
screw gamespot, just because sony wants their games to look more pleasing by making them brighter and have less sharp detail isn't a reason to down on them. Maybe if you spend your time taking screen shots and looking at them the 360 is better but the effects, lighting, and polish in a ps3 game at least equals the 360 and when fully comparing the systems with exclusives the ps3 at least stacks as somewhat better.
and another thing seriously! this guy analyzing this stuff just can't freaking tell anything can he? Sony seems to have decided to make things easier to see by making things brighter and he seems to think just because 360 games are darker and so have more shadows have better textures. Great job gamespot.......
