I'm not sure anybody say this before, We need to compare ps3 exclusives and 360 exclusives. This way is only because microsoft has a processor that's cheap to program for and has more of a user base. So over all you have to inlcude the exclusives in the overall picture because the differences in those are far more significant whereas the differences here are small and not really relevant
one last thing at your analysis of the half life graphics, they aren't blurry, they're just smoothed out so the edges of the models aren't so sharp. That's not a bad thing you stupid stupid damn gamespot analyst guy.
the other thing you have to understand is of course they are going to be basically the same!!! they have the same graphics processing capabilities! The difference is that ps3 exclusive games use the processor better which allows more things to go on at once as well as boosting effects, there is little difference to be seen in terms of difference in textures unless of course one system is favored over the other which is the case for many of these games as the needed development work was not put in due to cost. So what should really be the competition is 360 exclusives and ps3 exclusives. This kind of check-listing in which you just say that there are more games that look better on the 360 is irrelevant and misleading unless you also include a comparison of textures and effects of the ps3 versus the 360.
yeah it's too bad microsoft has never made any real changes to the performance of their operating systems just put in a few more shiny Icons. The same can be said for mac but their focus isn't on performance anyway, if microsoft wants to stay at the top of the heep they better watch out before game developers start making stuff run on linix for the raw speed.
