Thats the only grievance I've had with Steam in the past. That and forced auto updates. Glad I got GTA4 in retail because anything past patch 1.04 ruins the framerate and breaks the game. . Modding is still easy. I mod Steam-games alot. In general, Valve and Source-games go to the folder with your username, and the other games go to your "common"-folder. Also, shortcuts.
Yes, you do need steam (lots of games are doing this now) buts its not bad. Steam is great. :)

Thats pretty racist and rude if you ask me. The original Starcraft was voted THE GREATEST VIDEO GAME OF ALL TIME by Gamespot, an american web site. The MLG and the GSL right now have alot of U.S and European players in them doing very good. We as gamers should all be jealous of Korea, the tournaments there created E-sports. Alot of the big finals there have been some of the greatest moments in the history of video games and Id wager most here have never seen them and dont even know who slayerSboxer, Flash, or Jaedong are. Most here have no clue how much they would be absolutely in love with the game if they were fans and watched. Starcraft 2 even without the 2 addons coming that will add new units to the multiplayer and make it an even more amazing sport to watch has unbelievably topped the original.
It's not racist. It's a fact that many koreans play Starcraft.
I have played it maybe 3-4 hours straight. It's really good. I think people are raging because you can "customize" your bots like in TF2. For real money.
It's tempting, but I haven't finished GTA IV. Then again, I don't think I ever will because of the random crap I end up doing instead of game missions.flipin_jackass
