OR maybe the storyline of Halo is based on true aliens which actually exist and bungie has secret links with top secret alien organisations. Give me a break, this is the internet. If it's about alines, they'll appear when they appear and halo 3 WILL release on September 25th. I'm just thankfull nobody has said that that's a countdown to alien invasion.
P.S. try experiementing with halo 3 numbers and these sites , seriously, you might discover something.
1.Gears of War
2.Unreal Tournament 2004
3.GTA Vice City
4. Guild Wars
5.Tekken 5
6.GTA San Andreas
7.Red Alert 2
8.Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
9. Tony Hawk's Project 8/American Wasteland/Underground 2
10.World of Warcraft.
If I had a few days to think about this list, it would probably be different, as its so hard to pin up these 10 games. These games are my top 10 of ALL TIME.
Really tempted to say : more good games, less bad games :D, but i guess :
More-
1.) Shooters
2.) MMORPGs
Less :
1.)Sports Games
2.)Racing Games
im tired of tony hawk its too far away from realistic for me who actually skates every now and then im going with skate since it seems to try to sim real skating Gen007
Oh come on, we both know that no game can equal the fun of REAL skating, so you might as well let loose and enjoy games, as they are meant to give you a break from reality.
Proving grounds is releasing this fall ? Sweet ! I honestly think both games are good in their own way, it's not as straightforward as comparing shooter games, because these games seem to have completely different styles of playing. SKATE seems to have promising gameplay and graphics, but honestly i think a game needs more than that to be AAA ( story seems unstructured in SKATE) Tony Hawk games have always been unrealistic and wacky, but that's what has probably made them so enjoyable and unique. With this installment, I'm sure things are going to be more realistic, but if they can pin together a good story and make an improved online system, then I think it could even be AAA, witha rating of 9.0 or more (this hasn't happened since underground)
All in all, for anyone who has enough money to spend, both games are worthy based on previews, and we will just have to wait until they release before we can honestly segregate them and compare.
all the competitive/balanced games usually plays no more than 10 ppl
cs-5v5
UT-4v4
Halo-4v4
Quake-4v4
Rainbow-4v4
Gears-4v4
name 1 competitively balanced game that has more than 16 players
NoNam3r
UT is not limited to only 4 vs 4, I kind of agree with what you're saying, but UT2k4 supports a maximum of 32 players ( i think, though it might be more.)
[QUOTE="Spartan8907"]Well, for one, PCs can handle more players...er, cars on screen at once. I mean, come on, its PC for crying out loud. With PCs today, they better be able to do those kinds of numbers. Also, I'll just bring it up now, if R:FOM (up to 40 players online) and Motorstorm (up to 12 players online) can be done, whats up with only 8? For Forza and PGR its not so bad, but for GeOW, what gives?campbell1874
I think GeOW works better as a team shooter game. You add anymore than 4 v 4 and you just get people running off fighting by themselves.
You will be able to have 100 v 100 battles in Huxley for the PC and the 360. Does the PS3 have any game that has 200 players in one battle?
Not to burst your bubble or anything, but i think huxley is coming out for ps3 as well.
