@NetGod Bit of a difference between the privacy of your own home and a shop/security CCTV system.. Maybe some people like to sit and play games in their underwear or naked, you don't go down to the shops wearing your Y fronts do you? Do you leave your DVR running while you are in the house, or do you turn if off and on where appropriate? Plus, how many kids are going to have this system in their bedroom? My own children have consoles in their rooms under very strict conditions and supervision, but there is no way in hell I'd let them have a console with a permanently attached camera connected to the internet..
