This thread is just for fun.

A tornado is coming in about 5 hours and your family has packed everything in the only car you own. Your family packed everything and told you to only bring things they need to survive. The car is now jam packed and can only fit one more item. So you go into your room and suddenly you see your three consoles, a Wii, Ps3, and a Xbox 360. Now here are your options.

1. You can keep only one console and you have to think hard for the best one to keep. Remeber your house is about to be blown away and you'll end up with no money, so you need to think of the best console that will keep you occupied and will keep you happy for the future.

2. You can play a console for the remainder of the time until the tornado hits in 5 hours. This will be you last time to play said console as you can only keep one. Think of the game you'll play and it better be good. : )

3. Your last console you don't really care about. It hasn't given you any joy. You throw it into the massive tornado with a smile. Which one is it?

If MMA takes so much skill then why do I see the fighters being able to do all of the techniques in a day's training? I know they have fought elsewhere, but I know not long. Boxers such as Manny Pacquiao, Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, etc. have almost perfected boxing and it took them decades. For those of you who think boxing is just punching are just wrong plain and simple. You have to learn ring control, foot work, evading punches, defense.

From what I have seen in MMA fights I see fat slobs like Brock Lesnar overpower opponents with his 40 pound advantages and sit on them and proceed to wailing on them. Where is the skill when you can push a guy next to a cage with your weight and just punch.

The fighters on MMA that I have seen who really do have alot of skill and you can tell they have taken years to improve their game is Anderson Silva in Muay Thai, Fedor Emelianenko in Sambo, Lyoto Machida in Shotokan Karate, and Royce Gracie and BJ penn in BJJ.

AS a person that's familiar with sports and athletics. and as a person that has no interest in MMA or BOXING.. I'm going to have to disagree with you. MMA requires much more skill than boxing... MMA involves many forms of fighting... boxing involves one form. A well rounded person is always stronger and more athletic than somebody who specializes...

Boxing by itself isn't even usefull for self defense.

I'm sorry than you my friend probably are not a good fighter. For more than a century people have used boxing to defend themselves.

People have punched others(or have tried to) in self defense for decades. I don't know if I'd count untrained punches as boxing. :? Also, if someone has you pushed up with your face against a wall, what does boxing teach for self-defense in that position? Or having been grappled from behind by a stranger? There's no ref to separate the clinch for you. Boxing is beneficial if someone calls you out for an open street fight, but if you know how to fight back from all positions, you're better off, which is why being trained in numerous martial arts like BJJ, Judo, Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai, etc. would be beneficial.

Tell me do you think BJJ, Judo or wrestling would be good to use against multiple opponents? Exactly. Try throwing a guy or taking him down to do a submission while his buddies jump in and just kick the stuff out of you. In street fights with mulitple oppenents the best thing to use is boxing and Muay Thai. Most people on the streets have no idea how to throw a good punch. If you have learned basic boxing you can outpunch them.

I also want to point out that a boxer is just overall a better fighter. I mean I am tired of watching UFC fights and the fighters are completely tired after the first round. BJ penn anyone? The Ultimate Fighter Season is just horrible. I know they are working alot and they're bodies are usually stained because they're big and all, but allmost every fight I've seen so far the fighter gas in before the first round evend ends. A boxer that has to fight twelve rounds will laugh. ANy of the Klitchsko brothers would destroy all of the UFC heavyweights/

In my opinion as one stated earlier, put a MMA fighterin a boxing match with a boxer the boxer wins, put a Boxer in a cage with a MMA the boxer will lose, BUT the boxer has a much greater chance to win in a MMA fight than a MMA fighter in a boxing match. The reason why I think this is because in a mma fighter use boxing. Put a good boxer in there and a boxer has a huge advantage. If he gets taken down the fight most likely is over, but I think a good boxer, like a manny pacquiao, bernard hopkins, floyd mayweather would be smart enough to not get taken down. Each fighter in a cage has a puncher's chance because of those small gloves and a tremendous boxer in a cage its almost a guarantee. Don't get me wrong I am a huge MMa fan.

So here is my problem guys. I have had my HDMI cable for well over2 year with no problems at all. I never usually unplug the HDMI cable for no reason and when I do it is usually to clean the ps3 or I'm going on a trip and when I plug it in no problems, but yesterday I rented Transformers 2 on Blu-ray and I decided to watch it in my living room because I heard Blu-Ray is best on bigger hdtv's. So I hooked it up downstairs and I wasn't able to get a picture. I tried everything. I held the button until that second "beep". Nothing worked so I just used my composite cables. THe next day I brought my ps3 back up to the tv I usually use to play and it still wouldn't get picture in HD.

Now my question to you guys is it the HDMI cord or the HDMI input in the ps3 itself? Oh! also the HDMI cord was about $50 bucks and was great quality. I never mishandle my ps3 so I doubt it is the HDMI input. My ps3 also recognizes the HDMi cord because it has said it does and it gives me the option to change. When I click it the screen just goes blank. So please help me. This will be great help for me and others with the same problem.

This is just basically my opinion. I think boxing takes much more skill than MMA. Before anybody says, "MMA you need more skill. You have to learn how to strike, take down, and jui-jitsu, In boxing all you have to do is punch." WHich is completely wrong. Boxing, for those of you follow boxing deeply know what I'm talking about, takes alot of skill and conditioning.

My challenge to you guys is try to prove me wrong and Manny Pacquiao wiill destroy Cotto.
