Hey everyone,
Why is the internet full of forums saying that the falcon motherboard is overheating like hell. I tested the air that comes out at the back of the 360 and all are between 40 to 50 Celsius (104 to 122 Fahrenheit) and are being played Horizontal. (its like 10 Celsius(50 Fahrenheit) higher in the xboxes.

I think that most people are putting there 360:
1. Vertical (worst way to put your xbox360 because the 360 sucks are from the sideways)
2. In a small space ( less than 20 cm from the back of you xbox to the wall)
3. All of the above

In the rooms the temperature was around 25 Celsius( 77 Fahrenheit).

Be free to leave comments.

Hello everyone,
I have some questions regarding the xbox360.

1. Is there an option in the 360 that it automaticly starts a game when you power on the 360?

2. Are the new 360 models still overheating and as loud as an airplane?

thanks for answering the questions.

Marcel

News regarding the control schemes, copied right from the official fact sheet:

Wii Remote Controller (with or without Wii Wheel): Steer by tilting the Wii Remote left and right. Or snap the Wii Remote into the Wii Wheel to transform it into a steering wheel for an intuitive, motion-based control scheme.

* Nunchuk Controller: Steer with the Control Stick on the Nunchuk and use the Wii Remote to accelerate, perform tricks and drift.

* cl a ssic Controller: Mario Kart veterans can let their thumbs do the driving with the cl a ssic Controller. However, players cannot perform certain moves with this control scheme.

* Nintendo GameCube Controller: Experienced Mario Kart fans may also enjoy this familiar scheme, although some manoeuvers cannot be performed.

what control scheme are you guys going to use in Mario kart wii and why?

-Wiimote + nunchuck (A: accelerate, B:brake, Z:items and A+B(A+B not confirmed): Power slide, move with analogue stick, wiggle wiimote and/or nunchuck: Tricks)

-Wii wheel ( 2: accelerate, 1: brake, d pad: items, B or 1+2 power slide, wiggle for tricks)

-GameCube/****c controller ( A: accelerate, B: brake, L: items, R: power slide, analogue stick: move, d pad : tricks).

Ill try the wii wheel and if that doesn't work ill use the wiimote nunchuck witch i hearing good things about it.

(for people who are wondering where i got this info from: IGN and Gamespy)

Can any one explain how this game looks on a 720p LCD HDTV(I know it will be upscaled...)? Like the amount of jaggies(its use of anti aliasing) en such in comparison to let me say metroid prime 3 or Twilight princess?
