NY Fans in general because they act like Eli is a god then they throw him under the bus, the Knicks just cheer for Lebron, the Yankees have no pride in their team anymore( the only player I respect on that team is Jeter), and overall, the New York Giants should be called the New Jersey Giants. CleanPlayerRemember when the Celtics fans cheered for Kobe?

Let me guess a Boston fan? lmao. Got beat, take it like a man. Also at least learn to spell the guys name if you are gonna single him out. Ginobili steals the inbound pass! OH NO! hAha!Espurs117You can't deny that Ginobili flops like a fish out of water.
[QUOTE="lilmax25"]i dont really like college footballim tottaly opposite from you and i think the nfl rivalries are bigger then the college rivalriessith_acolyte15
It's kinda hard to take NFL "rivalries" seriously when so many players switch back and forth between the teams. If there was more team loyalty, then I'd, possibly, agree. But, everyone in the NFL seems to be nothing more than a hired mercenary.
that works for college as well, every 4 years you have a new set of players on each team.[QUOTE="bytgames"][QUOTE="Renegade_Fury"]They wouldn't offer me a job since I wasn't east coast biased enough.Renegade_Furyso your saying your in denial, that every thing out side of the NBA sucks in sports on the westcoast? except the cardinals, who will get crushed by pittsburgh sunday?(an east coast team?) your right they wouldnt hire you Well when you never hear any coverage about the Giants, A's, niners, pac-10 and every other west coast team even when they're good (aside from the Lakers), along with minor things like not posting pacific time ranges even on ESPN.com, in comparison to all the minutes the crappy and drama filled teams in the east gets, it isn't too hard to miss. Well I take that back, unless you're east coast biased. just be glad you don't live in canada! our teams don't even get a mention.
wait march where the hell have you been? been gone for a long time i think.NetYankEagleyeah i've been gone for awhile. haha i respect that the nets are a good team, and yes, they did beat the raptors in the playoffs. but, that still doesn't change that i think carter is a fraud. i don't have much against the nets, except vince.
i would have did the samething lolMURDA_Byou couldn't try your best for the team that was paying you $16 million?
I don't mind a player not going all out for a team that's inept
You're losing either way
The team was a bunch of losers and Vince played his part, the team sucked and he was a cog in the suck machine
When he left to the Nets he joined a team willing to put pieces around to be better.Toronto failed Vince
Jaysonguy
So you're telling me a player who is getting paid $16 million a year shouldn't play hard? 50% of teams don't make the playoffs, so you're telling me that 50% of players should just stop trying? I wouldn't exactly call a team that went 33-49 a bunch of losers either. Accepting players who waste the money that fans give out is ridiculous.
This is mainly for Raptors fans..but I felt like venting my frustration over what happened in 2004 again..
Vince has always been a terrific basketball player, either with the Raptors or Nets, but his actions in 2004 make me wonder if the Raptors would have been better without him after all.
In 2004, Vince was a quitter. He was a disgrace to basketball, and I hold this to every person who has done similar). He stopped trying, he was tired of playing with a bad team. Sure, anyone can understand a player being frustrated to not be on a winner, but he seemed to forget the team that made it to the Eastern Conference finals in 2001 and the playoffs again in 2002. I guess he felt like every player is entitled to a championship.
Think Vince wasn't a quitter? Check out these stats:
2004 as a Raptor: 15.9 ppg, 41.1FG%, 32.2 3P%, 69.4 FT%, 3.3RPG
2004 as a Net: 27.5 ppg, 46.2 FG%, 42.5 3P%, 81.7 FT%, 5.9RPG
Even forgetting the stats that are minute-dependent (he only averaged 8 more minutes per game anyways), how does he miraculously increase his 3P% by 10%, or FT% by 12%?
Or how about these comments? "When asked if he always played hard, Carter replied, "In years past, no. I was fortunate to have the talent. You get spoiled when you're able to do a lot of things. You see that you don't have to work at it."
Kevin Garnett never quit on his team. I don't see Chris Bosh quitting on the Raptors now that they're playing poorly. Vince was just upset he was playing with an awful team that included Chris Bosh, Rafer Alston, Morris Peterson, Donyell Marshall and Jalen Rose. All of these players (less Rose) now play important roles on their current teams.
Vince Carter is a fraud of an athlete. For somebody to make $16 million per year and put out less than 100% effort (Vince was not even close) is ridiculous. If I had been the GM of the Raptors, I would have sat him on the bench and given him the Marbury treatment.
[QUOTE="marchmadness1012"]It's ridiculous to think that there aren't ties from an umpire's perspective. Unless you have inhuman vision, you will not be able to differentiate safe and out on plays that are decided by a fraction of a second.Oleg_Huzwog
Judging by the astonishing success rate MLB umpires have at making the correct call, I guess they do have inhuman vision.
99% of calls aren't close enough for mistakes to be made. I'd say 1% are..and if you guess, you have a 50% chance of being right. So maybe only 1 out of 200 calls are wrong, but it's not as if they have inhuman vision.
