i think changing venoms eyes would have sent people into more of an outrage than slapping spideys logo on his chest. And human shaped eyes would not give the mask the creepy look is deserved.
@Sevenizz: when people say games to play they really mean first party mega hit games. something xbox has made specifically for their console. that took all the power of xbox and poured countless time into developing it for that console and that console alone. Like Sony and their first party games or Nintendo and their first party games. Xbox for the past 2 years have not put out a game for its console only. We all know xbox has games they dont have that exclusive game. They can bring games to pc yes but keep some exclusive to console only. Me personally i see a game advertised for xbox and pc imma get it on me pc while my xbox is there waiting for it weekly wipe down.
@voreo: More pc love is not whats needed to be honest really for xbox. The money PC makes off games does not go to the xbox division. So when a developer makes a game exclusive to xbox and pc the sales it makes from xbox goes to xbox division the sales it make from pc goes to Microsoft. Xbox does not profit from PC games sold.
If Microsoft wants me to own an xbox one again. This is what they need to do at E3. And im pretty sure this goes for countless others also. When they reveal a game at E3 nowhere on that screen do i want to see or hear them say timed exclusive or console launch exclusive (which was their fancy way of saying timed exclusive to trick people). Or saying available only on XBOX/PC. No they need to say if you want to play this triple a title you better goddamn buy an xbox one. Lets be honest Sony is killing it with probably somewhere 70M xbox probably around 40M and switch is probably closing in on 20M. Sony has so many exclusive being release that they will continue to sale at an unbelievable rate. And if xbox doesnt pull some gold out this E3 and we know a pokemon game, smash bros game etc is about to hit switch Microsoft could very well see them in 3rd place this race.
@bfeinberg: actually yea i was on ps4 my brother on switch and we were in the same room. and id play on playstation for a while he on switch and then i played switch while he gamed on ps4.
@darkelf83: everyone says ps5 is the next console, of course if sony plans to bring another console to market say next year (btw all speculation)to compete truly with the power of xbox x it will be another revision of ps4 maybe ps4 pro x (lol jk) so still in the ps4 family. why would Sony just 4 years in 70 million sold practically just jump ship focus on new console and new games catered only towards new system makes no since at all.
@aross2004: The cheaper to buy might be a thing. or if sony release ps5 next christmas could discontinue original ps4. Move slim to $200, pro$300 ps5 $400. By then microsoft would have dropped theirs by 100 so again even. But where in the world did you get bigger install base you do know they arent "New Gen Console" right. From xbox one to s to X, from ps4 to ps4 pro to ps5 all same generation. so if sony trend continues the install base will still be 2:1 install base in favor of sony.
@customx5: how do you its a simple feature. it could be very complex coding for sony's software. or maybe sony is trying to figure of with name changing will they be deleting the 100s of thousands of user names that have been inactive for x amount of months/years so an active person could claim it. Sony isnt the best when it comes to the software side of things. they're better with the hardware.
@FLOPPAGE_50: 1 thing microsoft doesnt care about pushing gaming forward with crossplat play. this is all about business they are trying to get people to switch plan and simple. here's the thing not switch consoles right away but switch their thoughts about microsoft in a positive way. which in return have people buy xbox. We could have had cross platform gaming 10+ years ago with ps3 xbox 360 but guess who kept shutting the other company down Microsoft. Sony had multiple games lined up ready but microsoft excuse was they didnt want to diminish or what it may have been their online services. which meant we have the most active gamers online and we dont want to share them when you.
Basically Sony is doing the same thing now. now Sony have the 60m players microsoft has the 30m players (made up numbers) and sony is saying the same shit. Do i think Sony will eventually allow. I think sony is waiting to see how the X performs before they allow cross plat play.
