When I saw gameplay videos of this game, I knew that this would be an instant AAA title for the PS3. I like the Unreal Engine 3 that was implemented into it and the fact that you could play with a keyboard and mouse with the PS3 makes it a worthwhile purchase.
These are outstanding reviews. I do not understand why IGN gave it a 7.0/10. I played the demo and it was very a refreshing experience rather than button mashing games. This game should not be compared to God of War (which is an amazing game) since they are different from each other.
For instance, IGN game Kingdom Hearts 2 a low score. I didn't listen to it since it was a very enjoyable game and every other major gaming site gave it critical praise (it even won Game of the Year from Famitsu).
People should not let the opinions of others distract them from buying the game.
This game is getting very good reviews so far and it looks like a AAA title for the PS3.
I would ignore the reviews given by IGN and Edge magazine because Edge magazine gave God of War 2 a 7.0/10 and this is not right since it was one of the best PS2 games of all time.
Do not let reviews influence your decision. Play the game and judge it for yourself.
I read the review and it does not deserve a 7/10. I found that the combat was very addictive and it had depth during the demo. Also, the developers said that button mashing would not help you throughout the game.
