@masscrack: Lol I dont think anything else but you are lying about every single things you are saying. I also know I am right.
You dont know enough, to even know that what you are saying should not be said.
I let you ramble, so others can see. You have demonstrated nothing, and if you have been around since 486 and then voodoo days, that is a legitimate disappointment; you grew up in the time period where we were tinkerers, and this is what drove the heart of it all.
Again, I am just playing into you. Its extremely obvious you are trying to troll. Lol. Thanks for the laughs.
PS: In case you do want an education, you might wanna read what I just said. It can save you over a thousand dollars.
here are some reference points for you since you need help.
@treechopper88: What am I lying about brother? You need to do your research, you aren't as smart as you think you are and I'm starting to think you are kind of unstable. This game uses UE5 and also nanites which is a feature of UE5. Nanites are one of the features exclusive to UE5 that benefits greatly from nvmes. The latest UE5 games that are on next gen consoles are designed to make use of their technology I.E. gen 4 nvmes. Due to modern engines like UE5 games are specifically developed and coded to make use of said technology. When it is ported to PC the same code doesn't run well on PCs with slower storage no matter how beefy of gpu and cpu you have. I shouldn't have to explain this to you if you are so intelligent as you claim. I don't have time to argue with you all night just because you are stubborn. Take care and leave me alone please.
@treechopper88: exactly you just contradicted yourself, and a sata drive from 2010 is miles slower than a gen 4 or gen 5, now you're starting to believe neo! I have a rog ally handheld and also a 4090 and 5800X3D when I want to play at the desk. Keep that cope up though lmao. The fact the games runs better than your rig on an handheld using an apu without fsr3 says miles about your system. lmao
@treechopper88: bro are you hearing yourself right now? you literally JUST said storage speed didn't matter. Stop contradicting yourself and take the L. I'm done with you.
@treechopper88: bro do you not know how to benchmark hardware? I have the same configuration right, the same system, the same game, I install it on the nvme drive test it, and then install it on the sdcard and test it. Everything is literally the same but the storage drive. The game runs better on the nvme by a mile. Nothing else changed. Please use logic! You look like a dang fool. I was never talking about directstorage and it will matter even more when more games use that.
@treechopper88: I dunno what that wall of text of votim was but it's irrelevant. I'm not referring to direct storage, yes I know what it is and this game doesn't have it. Very sad bro you don't understand technology and hardware but wanna jump down peoples throat. I've literally being working with pc since voodoo 3dfx and 486dx cpus my man. This game runs great on a handheld pc with an apu at 60+fps, and guess what it has a gen4 nvme, now try running this same game on an sdcard and it runs like crap. I literally debunked your whole spiel my man. Stop coping, you have no idea what you are talking about and keep coping.
@noodles227: correct another big reason, they want to set it on max settings and max resolution and forget about it. When they don't have the hardware for it and need to optimize their settings accordingly till they find the best visuals for the performance they want.
to explain further, games are now designed around the latest consoles and ported to pc. Meaning they are designed around having gen 4 nvme ssds. An ssd doesn't just apply to loading games, it also applies to reducing stutter, loading textures, assets, and reducing pop-ins, traversal stutter, among other things. Before you call people out you need at least do your research. Otherwise you look like a fool like you do now.
@treechopper88: its a literal fact brainiac. I didn't say it was the whole issue, but it is one of the main issues people are having when they also have a modern configuration (cpu, gpu) and their game isn't running well. I'm sorry you don't understand tech yet, this game will literally tell you when the hdd or ssd doesn't have fast enough read and writes. This is a common issue people are having with modern rigs and running UE5 games. Shortchanged? I don't think you know what words mean lol.
@brxricano: they're mixed because people are having bad performance playing on pcs without a next gen nvme ssd like they have in the consoles. I can even get 80+fps on my rog ally handheld with the right settings, its smooth as butter. Time to update that potato
