@jkittleson: i hope the 1080ti is just 700 bucks, that would be pretty cheap. It's not that expensive, i sell my 1080 for like 500 bucks or more and that leaves me just 200 bucks for the upgrade.. then 4k at 60fps+ constant here I come. Plus I also develop games, edit, use blender and maya. Consoles can't do that. Plus once you experience native 4k at high framerates and smooth SSD loading.. there is no going back. I only play consoles for exclusives, which is mainly the ps4, since all xbox exclusives can be played on pc now my xbox one just collects dust. But if you think about it you can spend a lot of money on consoles too. 299 for the ps4 at launch, then everyone wants to upgrade to the ps4 pro for another 399, then 60 bucks a year for online play, then once u get a ps4 pro you really want a 4k hdr tv too, which would run you 1500 bucks for a decent one, 3k+ if you want the OLED.

@jkittleson: oh now you change your story.. you where talking how glorious organic tvs are that have 480hz refresh rate lmao. You can see over 60 fps but probably not you, you only see in cinematic 30 fps. There are 144hz 4k monitors coming out this year for pc. I believe correct me if i'm wrong, but hdmi 2.0 cables only support 4k @ 60hz right now, so you couldn't get over 60 hz on the ps4 pro even if you wanted to.

@deviltaz35: but think about it, if it's having dips to 28 fps, how would they get it to even maintain a constant 60.

@jkittleson: well you are correct in one aspect, the hardware isn't exactly locked but the software is locking the hardware to 30fps or 60fps.. i haven't seen any games on the ps4 that have unlocked framerate like the pc usually does in the settings of each game. Even if the software was unlocked framerates it still wouldnt get much past 60 fps unless it was a very simple game graphically.. you still wont get anywhere near the 240 fps(hz) or 480 fps(hz). it's 60fps-hz locked bro, don't hate me, hate sony.

@jkittleson: so you think you're actually seeing 300 fps? you are locked to whatever hz your monitor outputs, so if you have a 60 hz monitor you're only seeing 60fps out of that 300fps.. this is hilarious bro.. you're doing a good job at making me laugh because you never cut the act, i'm starting to think you're just this stupid.. because you went full ret@rd on us mate. :)

@jkittleson: you realize 60 fps = 60hz right? to get over 60fps your display has to be higher than 60hz, you know that right? ps4 pro is LOCKED at 60fps max, meaning it will never go over 60hz.. learn before you speak jkticklesons.
